My Maiden Flight Radio Settings:
Ailerons: Low Rates: 65% D/R with 30% Expo, High Rates: 85% D/R with 35% Expo
Elevator: Low Rates: 65% D/R with 30% Expo, High Rates: 85% D/R with 40% Expo
Rudder: 70% D/R with 40% Expo

"The Pilatus PC-21 is an advanced single-engine trainer aircraft; it is often referred as being the "Twenty-first Century Trainer". The PC-21 can be adapted for various training capacities, including basic flying training, advanced flight training, full mission management training, and embedded simulation/emulation. In order to perform these functions, the aircraft possesses a powerful, flexible, and cost-effective integrated training system; providing sufficient ease of use for inexperienced pilots while posing greater challenge to advanced pilots. FMS has captured these same qualities in our 1100mm PC-21.
This Plug and Play (PNP) model comes complete with everything you need, minus your own radio system and battery, to be flying quickly. Using screws for basic assembly, the average flier can have it ready for the field in an evening.
Utilizing the latest high-ratio & low-density EPO 52 foam, which reduces the airplane weight by around 15%, greatly optimizes the flying performance without weakening the plane structure. In addition, the PC-21 is painted with environmentally friendly, water-based paint that is non-corroding, and can protect the foam parts under any condition.
With its scale appearance including retracts, flaps and the 5 bladed prop, the PC-21 will surely be a hit at the field."

Nice plane, but we need more planes with LEDs!!?
Yes, LED’s are something I want all planes to have. This model’s design is very good, but slightly dated in that regard. The plane is huge and very well done at a value price, so I don’t blame them for not making those changes.
I had the Hobby King version of one of these. (electric opening canopy on it, which looked cool, but in reality, made it super tight to get the battery in and out) - That one set so low in the front that when you tried to fly it off grass, it was mowing the turf. (Only about 1" clearance between the prop and the ground.) - If you hit a bump in the turf during landing or takeoff, it would nose over (with authority!)

I am happy to share that in no way shape or form it resembles the lack of quality sometimes found on Hobby King planes. I haven’t decided if I am going to only maiden it off of grass yet or only pavement, but I am sure it will do well either way 👊🏻💥👊🏻
@@GBLynden Looking forward to it. (You are right - some of the HK stuff had questionable quality, but I did get some from them that were great. (C-130, Skipper XL, P-51 to name a few, were all as good a quality as any I have bought from any source.)
