They use a nice tv commercial about the pedestrian safety and such but this just shows how bad it actually is... just plowed through multiple pedestrians without even thinking about emergency braking...
Volvo dont know how to program the software for this. Theres ton of unusued hardware in this cars even thats promised with updates. I would not trust that promise at all.
Not really! 87% and 88% for Audi; 88% and 85% for Volvo: it's about the same. Volvo did a slightly better job for the road users and safety assist. But for a Volvo, it's pretty DISAPPOINTING! They were far better in the 2010's.
only the child occupant score is worse. But agree, they are more or less the same. I think I just expected more from Audi. Anyway, safety is in general very nice.
Shame the safety systems are actually dangerous. Did you not test them in the real world? Lane assist tries to attack cyclists or pedestrians stepping into the road instead of letting you steer around them. Speed limit systems make sudden speed changes due to incorrect data (risk of rear end collisions). Distracts the driver at roundabouts warning about cars approaching from the right using the roundabout when stationary. Driver can't do much about that when stationary.
Disappointing when Volvo no longer owns its USP. That's what NCAP standards will do in the long term, kill innovation but lowest common denominator thinking...

Крепкий какой.
Disappointing results for a volvo😥😥😥
pretty good
I have to agree with you! They were far better in the 2010's!
@@rerometo Definitely not. Crash standards have increased, and tests have become more demanding.
And that's why WE have become more demanding, as well, with a brand like Volvo.
@@logitech4873yeah it’s a lot tougher now
88% For adult? Whats going on?
Smart #1 scored 96%. Very disappointing.
Wow, it hits a pedestrian and the score is 79 the yaris passed all the test and got a 78. WTF?
It’s because that pedestrian just robbed the bank on the corner. The EX30 apprehended a criminal.

It's an EV; that's why the pole test is very good!
It does better than the new Audi A5

looks pretty safe to me. good car
Ага
Good looking car but the results wtf?
Amazing❤
Not really! They were far better in the 2010's!
Outperformed by Zeekr X, BYD Dolphin, smart #1, Cupra Born etc.
Volvo is no longer a leading brand when it comes to safety…
