- Hector faces his destiny by confronting Achilles in a single combat, one of the most famous duels of all time.
Son of King Priam and Queen Hecuba, he will kill Patroclus, bringing the anger of the one who will seal his fate.
The Prince of Troy will not be able to win against Achilles, fierce and ruthless.
Hector will see his remains dragged by Achilles' chariot in front of the ramparts of the besieged city to the Greek camp, the ultimate affront in death.

Thank you for this masterpiece my friend! I remember when I asked you months ago if you will ever make a song about Hektor and you told me that you are planning it. As a Greek I love your work even more because you keep Greek culture and our mythology alive. My son is called Hektor( Έκτωρ) by the way 😊. My father used to tell me the story of Troy, how Achilles went mad when he knew Hector had killed Patroclus. I always found it amazing.
I really liked it that it sounded like something more royal than Achille's theme .
The bells worked really well for this one .
When the vocals entered the theme I could feel Hector's power and heroism and when 1:33 happened I was enthralled by it .
This one was really nice !!. I would just rather ( for my own taste ) for you to make it really calm almost complete silent for a few seconds when we reached 2:51. Make the atmosphere much more calm and peacefull and then use some calm female voices to make it more romantic and remind us Hector's love for his wife Andromache and their son .
And then ... enter 2:58 with the vocals from 1:33 . And then end it with 4:14 -4:36 although I didnt like the vocals from the last minute , there are the same you used for Orpheus and I didn't like them cause they make me think of different cultures ...more like Asian or Egyptian cultures and this is just unfitting in this case as we are dealing with a greek character . Just that .
Thats what I would have really really wanted to hear for Hector . Hope you like my idea .

Hi! Another great piece! 🤩 It suits Hector, the heroic prince and the greatest warrior of Troy, even though he didn't approve the war. Despite his fear and knowing he would have died, he still faced and fought Achilles. I think you chose to symbolize the fight between them with the more fast paced section in the middle of the track, right? 🤔 Either way, I love it 🙌

What inspired you for this big musical achievement ?. Did you listen to any soundtracks ?.
Hello and thank you for asking :) I've actually been listening to Dune's soundtrack by Hans Zimmer a lot, and some John Williams' pieces, but I couldn't especially relate my track with a specific soundtrack. I think it's actually very probable that something else has given me ideas.
I mean when I was in a hardcore band, I wrote my first folk songs. Inspiration works in mysterious ways 😉
I hope you heard the emperor theme from John Williams' score in Star Wars and also the main theme from Batman Mask of the Phantasm .
They can give you ideas for Seth's theme .

What gave you the idea to use those bells along with the male vocals ??.

Those male vocals are great for Seth and the male vocals you used for Hades could fit Seth too !.
Hey :D I'm really fond of Ennio Morricone's music and he uses bells in soundtracks like L'Estasi dell'Oro in the movie Il Buono, Il Brutto, il Cattivo (The Good, The Bad and The Ugly) to evoke fate. So I really think it might have influenced me 😊
In a few weeks if I can, I'll probably work with new more upfront choirs, so when I work on Seth's theme, I'll use them hopefully ;)

I have heard those vocals at 3:41 and 3:01 enough I think , thats why I want you to use different vocals .
If you want to of course . Use your variety . I am missing those vocals from Persephone , from Ares , Hades and the deep male vocals from the MOIRAI theme . Its time you used all of them again ...for Seth maybe ??.

Music 4 a Coward !
Hector was the greatest warrior for Troy. Back then, honor wasn't just a word. It meant something crucial, almost vital. And I believe in these times of trouble we're living, we need to be as respectful as we can toward each other. And although I don't like war and would never glorify it, I will keep thinking about Hector as one of the greatest figures of Antiquity.
@ Achilles challenged him the 1rst time n he ran to his wife , the second time it was 2 much so he could not do it again n Achilles killed him ! read the Illiad ! now if U want to know who the greatest warrior that fought 4 Troy it was Memnon , he ran into Achilles sword n died like a Man put up music for Memnon he deserves it !
