- Sister of Isis, Nephtys protects the dead, but also incarnates childbirth, health, magic, embalming, temples and the Night in its darkness. She's also associated with beer!!
At the sides of Hâpi, and as the protective, funerary goddess of the dead, she keeps watching over the sarcophagus, also protecting the canopic vase that contains the lungs of the deceased.

It is very inspired by Middle East Music and tries to capture the essence of this dark and beautiful Goddess.

The beat is lovely. The electrical samples based on what I'd call the '1.5 sped-up electro-systrum' are amazing as well. A top-notch video quality. The stylization doesn't sound/feel predictable + I respect Nephtys. One of the best works in the Egyptian cycle.

Hi! This is amazingly done and really beautiful! 🤩 Nephtys is usually depicted with her sister Isis, who she helped with bringing Osiris back to life after he was killed by Set (also Nephtys husband). There is also a myth that says Nephtys seduced Osiris by pretending to be Isis, and then giving birth to Anubis. Nephtys, fearing Set's rage, abandoned Anubis, who is later found and raised by Isis. Absolutely love this new track! I hope you are doing well and I look forward to the next track 😊
You're absolutely right :) Her stories are truly fascinating and I wondered if I should make Isi appear. I finally decided to dedicate this tribute to Nephtys only after working on similar musical ideas for Bastet (who's theme should be more positive I think).
I was too busy to work as much as I wanted on new music but I hope I can catch it up with themes to come soon ;)

@ I'm very glad to know that you enjoy my messages 😊 I'm very curious and excited for Bastet and Sekhmet's themes, since they are believed to be two aspects of the same goddess: Sekhmet the vengeful, powerful warrior, while Bastet is the kinder version, the protector that can also be fierce at times. I'm curious: are you planning to make the themes similar, but also different in a way, since it's the same goddess with two aspect? 😃 Take care and try not to tire yourself too much 🙏

I think it needed something more wild at the last minute . From 2:19 until the end . Very nice choice of instruments though !!!!. Smaller theme than others but POWERFULL .
Nephtys beats Apollo , Artemis and Hades in time everybody !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
