My main complaint is the changes to the lore and continuity. In "Castaways," they leave the island without meeting Austin, leaving him behind. In "The Heart of the Jungle," the Jungle's Heart is a gemstone instead of the place where Sherman lives. Also, Pablo and Tyrone are explorers, not Tarzans, and Tyrone says the Ughs of Tarzan Who Doesn't Say Too Much because, again, they removed Austin from the picture. In "International Super Spy," Tyrone is a secret agent instead of The Lady in Pink's henchman. And in "Mission to Mars," Uniqua is Boinga, and Tyrone is an astronaut instead of a ground controller.
Backyardigans was one of my favorite childhood shows it was right up there with Dora the Explorer ❤️ I will always treasure it in my heart. Just like those animals as a kid I had a big imagination too. I don’t like this version of them. Also, why are there only three of them shouldn’t there be five of them and every episode there’s at least four if not all of them. I had a few of my favorite episodes. My most favorite one was robot rampage that one was just as unique as them. Heck the reason why I’m even watching this is because I still love them. I am watching them on RUclips, and loving it and I am 19.! This better go away

It bothers me too, especially because they took old audio records from the original kids singing those songs and just copied and pasted in into this new version. They don't sound good either, it's like a phonk version of the ordinal songs , and it's a major step back for Nickelodeon. Oh and also where the heck is Austin and Tasha at?
