I was studying for engenier in Aachen, Gemany in 1963. In summer me and two friends regulary drove to the Nürburgring to watch wat is happening there. On one of these occasions Porsche was testing the 904 with Herbert Linge driving.
Your picture brought back good memories.
    Greatings Emil

I was thinking about this Porsche model over the last couple of days... This is what I'd want.

ristau exactly...a bad ass homologation special...yeap! Instant awesome. That's why the McLaren P1 will never surpass the Mclaren F1 unless they track it at LeMans one day. So a road going race car in my opinion is not a problem, it's a wise investment opportunity.

Who owned and raced this car originally? One of my SCCA sponsors owned one that he sold for, IIRC, $5,000. Shudda sold my soul...

So pretty that 4 years later Pininfarina copied it for the Dino 206/246 which is still the prettiest car ever made by Ferrari.

Well executed video detailing the car with some of the human aspect thrown in. Feels a bit like Petrolicious' vids.

Was hoping to see more of the car in details but the video seem to focus more on the two people talking!!!

Best of both worlds?? Swapping a Furhmann "drawer engine" for a six? If I was looking for a 904, it would have to be the 587/3 with Weber 46 IDM carbs.

If it were raced the chassis number would have been registered and the race info probably stored somewhere in an attic.
