    PSA: if someone is messaging you saying you won a prize or something, it's not me and it's a SCAM! Call them out and tell them "Mike Sabo says he will VIDEO CHAT with me if I'm winning something or buying something from him!!"

    FYI the roof material is a specialty item developed for marine applications, such as cabinets and deck mods on sail boats, and it comes in a variety of colors. It is crazy tough and some of the different types are structural grade. Sorry I have lost the contact point for the site but If I come across it I will tag this video. It can be contoured with heat as well FYI. Great Vid, this is my kind of restorative practice. If you are even going to touch it you do it right from the ground up. Nice Job. I know you got the clutches off with the grease truck (a good trick) but another helpful tip to get those off is to put a good amount of tension on the clutch puller and give it a firm tap with a mini sledge. About 90 percent of the time they pop right off. The weird idle is from running it without the primary clutch on there, that is normal. The primary clutches do make some chatter noise even if they aren't sacked out like that one. Once the covers are all on you won't here it too much with the new clutches. Plus snorkels amplify the chatter noise alot. Love the videos by the way 👍👍

    Kfi winches are awesome,I have one on my 420 rancher and that thing pulls,it's already pulled 2 atvs out of the mud.

    When using a clutch puller to remove the primary clutch, pump a few shots of grease into the puller hole prior to inserting the tool and the hydraulic pressure that is created when you tighten the puller pops the clutch off with minimal effort.

    Ditch that crappy snorkel and get you a triangle atv kit. They’ve been around in the mud riding game a long time and make a very nice kit. Friend just installed one on his 2015 maverick and I had one on my Polaris ranger and my 2014 maverick also.

    Nicely done. That acrylic sheet for a roof will work good. You can contour it with a heat gun and weld it if it cracks. That snorkel won’t work it’s to small. I know this is an old video but thought maybe some tips might be worth mentioning.

    Well if you worked 200hrs on the project and made 2644.01, you made 13.22/hr. But hopefully you make lots more from this RUclips video. Also, on a more serious note, I really appreciate your content. From your passion and technical know-how, to you great shot and edited video, and to the really great idea of putting a timer on your in video ads. It is such a high calibre of content. You’re a legend and I hope your channel continues to get the recognition it/you deserve!

      This is really an awesome compliment and comment man; the fact that you pointed out little things like the timer in my ad break means a lot to me - thank you.

      @@MichaelSabo The timer is brilliant. I’ve never felt like skipping ahead because the timer shows how much you respect other peoples’ time. I hope you achieve all your goals for your channel and whatever success is to you. Also, when it happens, and it is going to happen, I don’t think you are the type of person that would let it go to your head. Stay strong, stay humble, and keep getting after it!

    in that situation the grease was not much aid a little anti seize on the thread and the tip would be good,
    the grease trick works when you use a close fit pin and hit it with a hammer

    the clutch engages later on these models and jerks you forward i got one brand new in 14 and it has always done that

    • @MichaelSabo
      @MichaelSabo  2 года назад

      Correct; I discovered that during this build but this one was pretty bad - it was hard to see in the video but it would lurch, skip and the belt would slip. I will say though, that CVTech I upgraded to had almost no lurch at all if any; big improvement over stock.

    I'm mechanical engineer and I'm almost on a daily basis extracting shit that other mechanics break Sometimes you break off a tap or you break off a drill bit inside something and one One way to get it out it will take you some time but it will work for sure now what you need is Diamond drill bits on a dremel tool A long chronicle one that goes to a needle point and you could actually stick it in there and cut the drill bit or the The tap half with some time
