Beautiful wreath. I am a stroke survivor and you explained instructions very well. Thank you.
Oh thank you!!!! That means a lot to me and I appreciate it- and I appreciate you for watching!
I love those old cards and vintage ornaments
The little toy soldier that kept popping up on the screen is so adorable. I buy my son a different type toy soldier for Christmas every year. I remember all the plastic Holly and mistletoe back then. I know fish tanks need plastic vegetation, but I cringe when I see plastic florals.
My parents have my grandparents old silver tensile Christmas tree. They purchased it when it first came out on market for sale. It has to be over 55 years old because that is how old I am.
My parents are 81 and my grandparents are deceased; they all lived through the Great Depression, so they really knew and know how to stretch a penny. My mother was born to a share cropper. She was one of eight children, five boys and three girls. (There were actually four girls born, but the fourth one died at birth.)
All five of the young men joined the military and went to war. They all came back alive. One of them served under General George Patton. According to my mom, none of them talked much about the war or what occurred during it. Can you blame them? Two of them drank a lot of alcohol though and smoked cigarettes. You can imagine that they were trying to wash away what witnessed.
My mom said a Christmas present for them would be and apple or orange and a handful of walnuts. That would be the only time all year they would get them. They got one pair of shoes every year and they would always be a size bigger than what they needed.
They only wore them to church and school and during the winter. Rest of the time they went barefoot. Her daddy would sale a hog to by them shoes. They saved the shoes for each other to wear. My mom was the baby. When the others got married, especially her brothers, they helped her parents out and her with things she needed for school and was able to play basketball. She and daddy got to spend time together at basketball games. They both played basketball. Nice to reminisce of the past.
I am in love with these vintage projects. Love, love, love.

I was so excited to see the one at Woolworth's the store I would always shop and among other things get my yarn and sewing supplies. That was in the 70's. So u know I love the wall hangings. All your thrifted things turned into beautiful Christmas decor. Thank you for all you do for us. Appreciated more than you know.❤❤❤

I just moved to Cadwell, GA, from Soddy Daisy in April. I wish I would have known you when I lived there!
O my gosh girl! I think you’re the first one I’ve found from Soddy!!!!! I bet our families know each other! I’ve lived here all my life except one or 2 years !!! I’m so happy you’re here! I’m definitely a Soddy girl to the core!!!
@@kraftykathy. We lived in Soddy from 2012. My husband worked at PWS with Sean Sims.
This video just popped up in my feed and I LOVE your style!!! I agree, I am not a fan of gold either. I absolutely love retro/vintage and couldn't subscribe fast enough (liked too). Thank you for your gorgeous ideas, I hope you have a beautiful day :)

Love the square ornaments. I made one last year with a napkin from my sons wedding as a keepsake Christmas ornament. Loved it. Live the retro them. That’s my jam 😊

I love how everything turned out. You are very talented Kathy
Kathy you are truly creative! I love how you figure out how to copy things that you find, affordable! Watching past videos of yours. Love them all!
Love it all! I have a question for you or anyone who can give me a good answer: How and where do you store all your seasonal decorations that they won't get ruined while in storage?
I just use HUGE totes, and if they’re bigger, I literally hang them in the garage or put them in shelves I have In The garage!
I LOVE all your projects today😍 They all turned out beautiful like always❤️ I’m excited to see what else is to come next!! Take care & I’m sending prayers to you & your family for a speedy recovery🙏 Have a wonderful day 😊

Girl u got me feeling Christmas already🥰 love ur vintage Christmas ornaments🎊🎉 can't wait for ur next video.. take care🙏
I love everything and wish I could do that. I'm just starting out learning, I have stuff here to do but can't fund anybody that has done anything with the the same thing so I'm like what do I do with them. I have a bunch if those ornaments that are plastic that you get st dollar tree but have no idea what to do with them. I love Christmas so I want to do crafts for Christmas but I don't have things you you tubers do so again lost. I livebin tiny area and don't have the stuff at Dollar Tree you do or the stuff at thrift shops. Oh well maybe somebody will do something with what I have. I love, love watching your channel, you are so talented, you have so many beautiful crafts, you are so lucky. Take care and stay safe and healthy.
I started out the same!! My town is tiny too- and sometimes I just had to make stuff from cardboard even🥴you can do it! There’s SO much to do with those ornaments!!
I love those square ornaments! They are beautiful! I remember when you made those last year. I said that I was going to make some like those. But, I never did find the square ornaments. They had plenty of different sizes of round ornaments but no square ones. I hope to find some this year. I think your wreath is so pretty! Your hat box is beautiful with those transfers. I love how your sleigh turned out. Absolutely gorgeous!
They come out Christmas time at hobby lobby! They are my favorite ornaments!
❤❤❤
Such great ideas! New subbie😊
Oh goody! I’m so happy you’re here!!
Glitter? Remember atgift unwrapping time t save the cheap $1 a bag bows to cut into your own glitter to recyle. roughly cut up the bow and place into a container that your scissors will go yo thr bottom. Then just repttdly cut into th pieced until deired size. Maybe a bit rough but it is a recycle effort.
Thank you for that last bit of how to download pictures. I’m kind of technologically challenged as an old lady. But I do have one question how do you make a different sizes?
You know what? I haven’t figured it out yet! I have to use a program called canva to edit my video, and that’s how I change the sizes on mine- canva is free they say, but I have to pay for mine and I change sizes on there!
Thank you so much you are the first person who has ever answer the question instead of just putting a heart and I really appreciate you taking the time
❣️❤️❣️
I love your retro crafts but I absolutly loved the Coca Cola wreath. I never heard you say where you got the coca cola sign for the wreath, can you tell me now?
Yes- I lucked up and found it at a thrift store. It was half off- it’s from the &0’s
What kind of paper did you print the pictures for the books on for the square ornaments? You just printed them from the internet correct? Great video
Those are printed on regular copy paper ..but I find it best to seal the paper before you use the mod podge because the colors can run- I just spray mine with rustoleum matte clear, ….i just started decopauging almost all my stuff with a glue stick , and I bet you wouldn’t have to seal it because you’re not actually wetting the paper like you do with mod podge! Hope this helps, and yes, I just google vintage Christmas children’s books and print from the images!
You are so crafty, Kathy. Beautiful creations. Now have ideas for the vintage Christmas cards and pictures in my stash.
