@@ProjectSimRacing It’s great I highly recommend it and it’s still being modded today with modern NASCAR. The spiritual successor is Iracing but that requires subscription and other steps :(

Forget all the nasty arcade~ish CMR games (the first two were the best imho), RBR still has a warm place in my heart. I miss those days though.

Yes, I did! 🙂👍 I really enjoy both RBR and DR2. Ideally, a combination of both games would be amazing. Many argue that RBR is more challenging than DR2, but I don't feel that way. While RBR might feel slightly better in terms of driving, DR2 excels in graphics, even if it's considered relatively old by now. Plus, the sound quality in DR2 is definitely superior🙂
@@ProjectSimRacing shure the visuals of DR2 are amazing, but it seems to me that RBR has better physics (both I played only with keyboard but it felt more realistic)

Thank you so much! I truly appreciate the kind words. Unfortunately, RBR doesn't have native triple screen support. However, as you can see from my setup, it's still possible to get a decent visual experience even if it isn't perfect. Happy rallying! 👍

I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings 🙂
Hey bro nice riding. What degree wheel do you use or what degree do you think is best for rally sims.
Thank you so much, mate! I really appreciate it! The degree of rotation I use depends on the car I'm driving. In DiRT Rally 2.0, I use the soft lock feature so the wheel's rotation matches the car's. In RBR, I set the angle manually based on the car I'm using. You can see the car's wheel degree when you choose the car in the menu
Oh my God man!! That was flat to the mat for the whole stage! I hope you didnt waste money buying a brake pedal because you dont need it 👌😅 RBR with mods stages are so cool. Its a pity the car sounds are still shit because it would probably be the king of rally games if it had Dirt Rallys car sounds and a slight upgrade in graphics. As always, savage driving my friend 👊

Physics-wise, RBR still has the edge, largely thanks to the incredible modding community that's kept it alive and evolving. However, I still thoroughly enjoy EA WRC for its own unique qualities. How do you get so much control? I have been playing this game for a while on my semi cube and it just feels like every car under stairs like crazy and slides along the gravel while yours immediately starts to make a turn as soon as you move the wheel and then you just throw the wheel back to hold it.
😊a lot of it comes down to practice, for sure. To combat understeer and get that immediate turn response, it's crucial to manage oversteer actively. Remember, steering isn't just about the wheel; your throttle and brakes play a huge part in controlling your car’s behavior on gravel. Keep practicing with these elements in mind, and you'll see improvement! 😉
Being such a pro driver yourself, how do you think RBR Compares wrc generations or ea sport wrc. Is it actually worth while playing the RBR in 2023? I’d appreciate your feedback mate. Thanks

RBR is still the king rally sim game for me. But I love playing EA Sports WRC as well. While WRC doesn't feel as good as RBR, I still very much enjoy playing it. A combination of the two would be great😄
As for Generations, it was ok, but I had a lot of bugs with it, and the never updated the game..

Soft th is great for setting up triples just make sure if you have a 4th screen makes sure it's disconnected when soft th does it's auto configuration for some reason it would never pick up just my triple setup would always take the 4th screen into account
