- Our baby Benji has some problems when he was born and couldn't be held for a wile after being born. He had pneumothorax and needed chest tubes put in to survive. He recovered and this video was taken once we finally got to hold him. It was an amazing moment and a total surprise that he was smiling and giggling so much. Still one of my fav videos of the twins while they were in the NICU for about 50 days.

Omg what a little charmer this one is!!!! I have never seen anything like it for a preemie that is still soooo tiny and fresh out of the womb!!! The bond between this mother and child is STRONG!!!! Kudos to Mom for growing such a brilliant fellow!!! May all the blessings of our Redeemer Jesus Christ bless this mother and son ( and his twin ) all the days of their lives....Amen 🙏💟✝️👑

So cute! I’ve never seen a newborn smile that much (usually they start smiling on purpose at 2-3 months) and his reactions to mommy are very aware! ❤
Baby Benji is just so precious but he still can’t see you, he looks in your direction because he hears your voice. Preemies can’t see or even focus their vision until they typically are closer to what would’ve been their actual due date unless they’ve already had eye surgery. His smiles were absolutely beautiful, however at his age they were simply the result of gas bubbles in his little belly but it’s always nice to think that they really are smiling at us.
