Also his shooting stats last season were pretty mid, despite averaging 25+ ppg. He’s a good scorer but he’s a mid shooter, poor defender, his 3pt shooting is overrated and doesn’t get along with his teammates.

The players I would have put 10 spots or more above or below their position in the list are: - ranked too high: Anthony Edwards, Paul George, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jrue Holiday, Paolo Banchero, Zach LaVine, Klay Thompson, Tyrese Maxey, Josh Giddey, Austin Reaves, RJ Barrett, Jordan Clarkson, Bobby Portis, Cam Johnson, Kevon Looney - ranked too low: Ja Morant, James Harden, Julius Randle, LaMelo Ball, Zion Williamson, Dejounte Murray, Desmond Bane, Kristaps Porzingis, Rudy Gobert, Chris Paul, Tyler Herro, Anfernee Simons, Kyle Kuzma, Russell Westbrook, Jonas Valanciunas, Derrick White, A good part of the disagreements are based on very specific situations after injuries or off-court issues we do not know how they will pan out. Most of them are linked to age: younger players who they rank high or older player who they rank low, according to me.

Ok I just need some clarity. From my fourty plus years of watching basketball. I have seen that scoring is valuable but scoring by itself has never been. SGA averaged over 30 point last year and it didnt really contribute to any wins. They were a losing franchise with him having an all time prolific scoring season. I dont see them cracking the playoff bubble in the west at all this year. So how is a player whos play will not elevate his team to wins, a top ten player in the league. I believe SGA is a good player but to me a top ten player is a player whos team is in the championship conversation due to their play. Not someone whos team cant make the playoffs. Same with luka. Luka does not make his team a championship contender. He is not there yet. Ja, Curry, lebron, Jokic, Embid, Giannis, tatum, butler, durant are your best players in the nba. Any of those guys instantaneously makes your team a chamipionship contender in no particular order. Number 9 or 10 would be a major contributor to those men listed. Why is it just like a foregone conclusion that embiid is better than Tatum? A good part of the disagreements are based on very specific situations after injuries or off-court issues we do not know how they will pan out. Most of them are linked to age: younger players who they rank high or older player who they rank low, according to me.

Jason Tatum is not better than KD or Bron. Luka and Embiid are not better than Steph. The NBA is trying so hard to make us take their new stars seriously, but the reality is Bron, Steph, and KD, are still running the league (on the court, and in popularity) in their mid-to-late 30s and the NBA is DESPERATE to replace them and keep people interested. It’s been easy to see for a minute.
I don't get the rating of injured guys like Kawhi. Giving him 24 makes absolutely no sense. If he's playing, he's a no brainer top 10 otherwise I'd just skip him from the list completely. Ok I just need some clarity. From my fourty plus years of watching basketball. I have seen that scoring is valuable but scoring by itself has never been. SGA averaged over 30 point last year and it didnt really contribute to any wins. They were a losing franchise with him having an all time prolific scoring season. I dont see them cracking the playoff bubble in the west at all this year. So how is a player whos play will not elevate his team to wins, a top ten player in the league. I believe SGA is a good player but to me a top ten player is a player whos team is in the championship conversation due to their play. Not someone whos team cant make the playoffs. Same with luka. Luka does not make his team a championship contender. He is not there yet. Ja, Curry, lebron, Jokic, Embid, Giannis, tatum, butler, durant are your best players in the nba. Any of those guys instantaneously makes your team a chamipionship contender in no particular order. Number 9 or 10 would be a major contributor to those men listed. Like a brown, murray, davis, or booker.

When it comes to Shai or Ant you clarify that it's based on a prediction of the upcoming seasons performances but for Embiid you believe it should be based on his prior seasons? That makes no sense. Embiid has also just been much better than Steph and Luka individually for like the last 4 years, despite playoff performances.
