I think what happened is she leaned forward first with her hand, and he was reaching out ready to reciprocate BUT she didn't touch his hand, so he didn't touch hers. He was ready to reach back, but only if she initiated it.
When you laugh about something that someone says, you sometimes touch their arm, hand or knee. It happens :)

i think jimmy cuts ppl a lot as a nervous habit bc silences make him uncomfortable/awkward so he tries to hurry to the next talking point/question before it can happen lmao i know that i use to do that a lot (i still do when i'm nervous) and would even plan conversations beforehand so i know what i wanted to talk about and have things to fill in potential silences lmaooo...mess

I like Fallon and he's talented and fun, but there's just something about Kimmel that I prefer more. Kimmel just connects so much more with his guests; like he's their buddy. You can tell many of them are his genuine friends and that they actually hang out (Jennifer, Ben, Matt, John, Emily, etc.) which makes the interviews and skits more funny, interesting and engaging. Fallon is pleasant and gets along with everyone, but just the interviews never quite hit that mark or get super personal or real (except for the infamous Nicole Kidman moment). Just my opinion. They're both awesome. I just always have found Kimmel to be underrated and kind of the underdog.

+Allen M. Quinn I think Kimmel has the charisma of wet plaster. It's true thatFallon is not a great interviewer but he is the most elegant of the US talk show hosts and wears Tom Ford perfectly even when dancing or jumping. I also think he wins points for creativity. Or is that due to his writers?
+Allen M. Quinn THANK YOU. I thought I was the only one to think that. Even in the way Kimmel talks to people, the humor he puts in everything, it makes me feel close to him. closer than JF at least. Plus, and I don't know if what I'm about to say is going to make any sense, but here's the thing : I am French, and I find that JK has a sense of humor that's very close to ours in France. He's sarcastic, he (gently) makes fun of people, his jokes are more oriented toward others than himself, etc. It is something that we do a lot here in France but I rarely see an American being really comfortable with that. Maybe it's one of the reasons why JK is less popular than JF...

hey Jimmy, I really love your show but i have a small advise for you. Please stop interrupting people while they are talking. It really makes it hard to watch and it isnt fair. You also love when people are listening to your stories so please let them tell what they want to say. Thank you.
