❣ That is amazing. I love that model. It looks like a hybrid of a thick LP style with the SG type with thicker SG horns and with a gothic vibe to it. Oh my God now there is another beautiful guitar to add to the bucket list of "have to have it." 🏁🏁Thank you ESP for these direct and to the point demo videos of your different models and amazing artist endorsees. We are ESP for life. 🏁❣
This is definitely the reason this has few videos on it, many are on sale through reverb, and there's so few used ones out there. It looks like an amazing and unique guitar, but $2,000 for an import is insane. You could easily get an American PRS S2 or Gibson for that price.
The rising prices for everything have been crazy. 1-2k for high end LTDs, Jackson Pro models, Schecter Diamond series and sig series models, higher end epiphones are insane. Get used versions of their non-import big brother brands for similar to lower prices.
I didn’t know Bill had a Woodbine or Woodrite. I know Brent has the signature V. But, aren’t the warlords just a copy of that First Act that Matt Pike played?
@ Woodbine have pictures on their website and say that they are/were official artists for them. Yes Warlords are also copies of First Act but I feel like I read somewhere that there is some kind of official connection to them at least.
@ it’d be hilarious if the connection is the “does it doom?” First Act collection. lol. That’s cool though, I didn’t know that. Doesn’t surprise me though. They’re killer guitars. Also kind of look like the Yamaha SGs that Bill used to play. I think he mentioned it in this video.
The connection part could be bullsh*t but that’s what’s in my memory. I think they at least told them or got their blessing to make them or something like that. Ive got an old SG1000nw and if I were a famous rockstar that brands all want a piece of I’d definitely go with Yamaha. They don’t have many styles but damn they’re good quality.
This guitar looks so gorgeous. ESP/LTD has always been a high quality brand but since few months every single product shown looks and sounds just out of this world. Still a little bit expensive but such a great job ! 💕👍💕
LTDs are amazing. Is it expensive? Yes, but that's the price of LTD sig model and they come with a case. They probably have Bill's signature pickups as well.
Bill used to play a First Act way back in 2009, he even acknowledges it in this interview. The Woodrites are just copies of the First Act shape. Sit down and shoosh.
So aggressive, especially when you're wrong. This shape has been available through several manufacturers by now (as stated above). And also Bill has been playing the prototype for quite a long time, possibly even before the Woodrite one came out (not that it matters because of previous stated reason). Also I'm pretty sure Brent got a Woodrite guitar coming so they still got some Mastodon-guitars on sale.
@@scottandrijasevich8717 Re-read my comment. I acknowledge the Woodrite Warlord is via the first act - I'm very aware their Warlord is homage to the First Act custom shop DC6, and yes, we had the Yamaha SG2000 body shape of yesteryear. Yet Keliher claims to have helped design this ESP??? Too many shrooms bro, and as First Act are not currently building as I understand it, but Woodrites are - so wouldn't the utterly obvious be to approach or work with Woodrite on a Warlord with your choice of pickups and tuners etc? but I guess the slick ESP and its marketing led to his guitar and cringey promo we see here, proves my point entirely....
@@mikedamisch Not wrong you misinterpret my point, read my above response. This shape (Yamaha SG2000 style) has been around forever which First Act and then Woddrite recreate from, I acknowledge this....
@@mikerauter1859 since you seem a little bit lost, I'll summarise it for you in a way you may be able to understand 1. Bill used to play a First Act with this body shape 2. He is already endorsed by ESP 3. This is him working with ESP to recreate a new version of his old First Act with the ESP logo. It's really that simple.
Love that there's actually some "First Act" double cut custom styles out on the market these days.👍

Kinda like a Yamaha SG2000
First act…
@@Exercise-01he own this during early years of mastodon
I was waiting for this guitar since STL tones videos in 2022!
Thx Esp, thx Billy
Great company Great band
underrated guitar icon.
Lovely guitar but the LTD model running for £2K+ GBP is craaaazy.
Unsellable... Because for 1500 you can buy a gibson

Love all this stuff. But I have to agree with you.
Save $500 and buy a Woodrite Warlord.

I purchased one last week, it's an awesome guitar for metal music. It is heavy, but really comfortable to play. Bill's signature pickups scream!
Any neck dive?
@@fajaradi1223 I just strapped it on, none.
Proud owner of BK signature guitar here. Royal shiva is next. Was waiting for this guitar review since its launched at NAAM’s ESP Booth
It’s basically a 1:1 copy of a Woodbine/Woodrite Warlord which has been around for years. Bill & Brent even had Woodbines at one point.
I didn’t know Bill had a Woodbine or Woodrite. I know Brent has the signature V. But, aren’t the warlords just a copy of that First Act that Matt Pike played?

I believe Kirk Hammet had an ESP double cutaway that was a bit similar.
Awesome, let's get that 9 string version ESP!
Lol no thanks already enough unpopular shit out there that nobody ever uses
There’s a Matt Pike signature 9 string Woodrite Warlord guitar. It’s sick

Much better looking than his other signature.
Yamaha SG esque
PLEASE put out one of these with a floyd. no big companies make a double cut away with a floyd straight out of the box
I'm not really into sig guitars, but this one looks very interesting indeed.
the reason you can't tell the difference it's Magic ,,,, George Lynch told me that 30 years ago about ESP/LTD guitars
Ayyyyyyyy
God i want one of those so bad😢
bro, I dig it, but 2k is wild :/
Woodrite Warlord has very similar guitars for like $1500 built in Korea (I think).
Totally off topic but Bill has been getting thinner and thinner over the years, I hope his health is okay.
I’ve noticed that as well
Beautiful guitar, but 2499€ in EU for an import guitar?
Looks just like the wood rite warlord
any chance for a lefty version?
Turn it upside down and restring it and you will have it,Jimi Hendrix was smart enough to figure things out and be different and make it work 🤘
@@bigmike9527
We aren't Jimi, but luckily this guitar is almost simetric. Good luck avoiding those knobs while strumming, and there you go.
Got one of these a couple of months ago and it’s probably the best guitar I’ve played. Puts my former $3k Gibson to shame.
I like to call it my Les G.
Who's the ceo of esp?
$2000 for an LTD. The world has changed
Korean labor and shipping containers

Yamaha has one like it.
Bill become so skinny.. is he's health alright?
ltd that cost over 2k
Just send me one...
$2000 my ass!
And as always, without the left-handed version
Cool guitar but ridiculous price for an LTD.
Woodrite warlord rip off. Shame Bill, did they offer you more coin than Steve? Design your own? Lol, its a first act/woodrite clone dude

ESP treat their customers and sellers like shit. I wouldn’t touch them after what I’ve been told about them.
Another hideous looking axe ! What’s going on in his mind!! Plus they are just getting ridiculously expensive for the ltds !
