- This band near single-handedly helped me out of a drum rut when I first discovered their album Pilot this last September (along with Origami Angel, who-oh hey look at that, a convenient and totally inconspicuous segue-I also covered on this channel), and this may be their best song yet so far as I'm concerned. From the moment I first heard this song I knew I wanted to cover it. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy!
I promise I'll try to start posting more consistently, but I can't promise that I'll actually succeed. We'll see what happens.

I was prior to the lockdowns but once that started we couldn’t exactly play shows anymore, and I’ll have moved away by the time things start opening up again

Second, I’m pretty sure we were separated at birth or somethin cause we look pretty alike, drum, and make some very similar facial expressions while drumming hahaha. Check my RUclips to see what I mean. I promise I’m not here to promote my channel, I genuinely enjoyed this 😂

@@Colbyplaysdrumsandstuff Hahahah right?! The resemblance is uncanny. Unfortunately due to my living situation right now, I'm not rockin a full acoustic kit, but I did invest in a nice electric kit for me to still play!
You are ridiculous my friend, I came to this cover so that I could learn how to play the song better and your cover is gonna be the one I'm referencing so it's YOUR talent being shared with me! :) But I seriously appreciate the compliment all the same. Been looking at doing videos again soon.
Nate Logan I guess everyone’s their own worst critic haha. I could nitpick this video to death but I guess everyone tells me I’m too hard on myself, so maybe you’re right.
I subbed though for if you ever do get around to it and I look forward to it! Complications have caused my drums to be stuck in a studio these last couple months leaving me with a half busted electric kit to practice on, and I’m sitting on a couple of covers I want to record. I’m supposed to get them back this week though, so if that works out and motivation doesn’t escape me as it so often does I should have another cover out in less than a week and a half.

That's part of the reason I haven't done a cover just yet, because I haven't actually sat down to take the time to learn the songs correctly. But now that I have a bit more time to practice and play around I'm sure I'll get some content up soon. I hope you do as well, because I'd definitely be checking out those vids!
