Even though I recognized a good bit of the outboard gear I was struggling to spot anything I had at least one of in my own humble studio. Finally, the piece that gets an actual second look in this video - the Anthro desk... I have the much bigger brother, a three shelf, 72" AnthroBench II monster that I've modified to add a fourth, slide-out shelf. He's right when he says these things are amazing. Mine is massive, heavy and built like a tank. I use it for my Pro Tools PC station. It might not make my recordings better but it does make my studio better.

I don't think this studio is used so much because the patchbay is empty

When a session is finished, the assistant has to pull all of the patch points and sometimes do a compete recall of every channel and outboard setting. It's pretty brutal after working 16 hours on a mix.

You can't be serious, right? Every single session is different.
Every single time you remove every single cable from the patch bay and roll every single knob back. BTW, if this wasn't a case, they would *not* be any use for a patch-bay in the first place, because it would mean that nothing changes from sessions to session...! The only reason why we use patch bays in the first place is specifically because we need to change the routing from the control room all the damn time.
I'm sorry but you just displayed your incredible level of ignorance and disrespect of the audio industry to everyone here, many of us professionals. Not a good career head start, ain't gonna lie.

Jesus, take some prayer sheets with you next time so you can kneel to your god.

I have to comment on your “The Best Drum Sound.” In my career as a live recording specialist, I’ve had the pleasure of recording drums in hundreds of concert venues and studio around the globe. In that context, the blithe claim in your thumbnail looks pretty silly. There is no “Best Drum Sound” and if there could possibly be, it would not be within the walls of any recording studio.

If you’d researched all the great albums/basic tracks done here, and better still recorded drums here and in the other great rooms of LA, etc. you might change your mind.
