Ditch school I paid 20,000 to learn nothing most of it I learned on the job school just helped me recognize how everything worked but most of what you learn in school you can learn in 2 weeks on the job just a heads up and Goodluck in the hvac industry brotha
Also all my first interviews went the same "we are looking for someone who has in field experience " meaning not fresh out of college 😅

we used to do those small computer rooms and we used free-standing self-contained water-cooled condenser units
Commercial accounts is where it’s at, especially the land lords. I got a property management firm that are also the landlords, I’ve been working this account for a year in a half and it’s starting to bear fruit. Not that it wasn’t giving me calls and stuff to make money on but now it’s grown to more calls more equipment change outs and keeping me busy. It all started with me washing a coil and getting an old system cooling when everyone else said replace it. That’s a good account there it has potential to become a honey hole.

Crazy how they ask for workers comp just to access a roof. That's not their issue, whether you're exempt or covered, you getting hurt on their property means you're coverage will pay or you being exempt does not hold them liable. Anything dealing with damaging property is what liability insurance is for. Must be different in Texas, most times they just ask for a certification of liability insurance

Malls are the worst to service equipment. In my 35 yrs in the trade when I got a call to go to a mall I would rather eat glass. In my area mall management wants your company insurance info, my driver's license and the name of my first born..lol Once you think you found the right equipment think again. After your done walking 7 miles from the roof hatch with a tool bag and completely dehydrated that's when you reevaluate why the hell you got into the trade.

Congratulations, Walter … be very careful video recording commercial properties like this without approval. Facilities management would probably not approve of their sensitive IT rooms posted on RUclips. In fact, many places, like data centers, require an NDA and explicitly do not allow photos or videos.
