Cathy, thank you for taking so much with us today. Loved all the questions sent in and you didn't blow by any of them. It was so informative and very enjoyable. Great idea for the live today!
Hi Cathy, Thanks for taking the time to answer all these great questions! You have been such an encouragement in my crafting journey. I love that we are both the same age--29-29; you look great! I love to listen to you chat while I craft, and appreciate all the time that you spend recording....learned all about that when becoming a 'virtual teacher' during the pandemic. I often search your videos before purchasing crafting tools. You are trusted and appreciated!
What a great Live! Because I work during the day, I have to catch the replay. I am typically a silent watcher, but felt inspired to comment today. I am a TX girl living in Austin (I went to Southwest Tx State - now Texas State Univ) and I love 80's music, but I am a huge country fan, too. I am about a year older than you so I truly relate to you!!! I love all you do and am so grateful that you share your talent with us. I remember you from your scrapbook days, too (Ali Edwards was one of my faves)! So my comment is really going no where, but I am appreciative for all content creators taking time to share their designs with the crafty world. Without y'all, I would struggle with my card making hobby! Hope you have a fabulous holiday weekend! P.S. I am usually watching your videos when my hubby is making dinner (my crafty area is my breakfast nook off the kitchen), so he hears your videos. He loves you and thinks you are hilarious! Cheers!
😂 as I choke (laughing) at the end of the previous post…some humans are just nasty…no time or energy for that!! Making is so much fun and enjoyable for so many people that there’s an entire industry dedicated to all of us from awesome people like Cathy, Jennifer, Gina….happy people love to make others happy🥳🍾🎉🥳. I was just about to watch live and one of my kids called, then another…I have a handful and it’s like their radar is on..”Mom’s doing something …let’s call”🤣😂🤣and it’s contagious 😂!! Loved the replay, so many great nuggets, as always! Totally made my day, hope everyone has an awesome one!!!
Absolutely LOVED the Q&A video. You got through over 70 questions! AMAZING. Interesting that you didn't get more "personal type" of questions. THANK YOU Ms. Cathy!
Was not able to watch live and have only just watched now. It was well worth the wait, thank you Kathy for your generosity. Loved listening to this while tidying my craft room💖🇦🇺
I thought this was awesome! As many said during the live, thank you for being real, funny, educational and inspiring! Really enjoyed the Q&A - you’re simply fantastic ♥️☺️
I love your cards because they are easy for me to reproduce. The simplicity of your cards and color choices give me confidence to do them. I loved this Q&A. I learned some good storage ideas and learning more about you was a plus.
Hi Cathy, I didn’t get to catch this live but watched the full replay. I just want you to know how much I enjoy watching your lives, you always make me laugh and I love your style of cards!
I really appreciate you for doing this Q&A. Maybe there should not be a part two but a series. Maybe just now and then. Your videos are always teaching me new things and I even like the sound of your voice. You put me at ease and I know it’s going to be a fun video. Thank you for being so real and fun!
Cathy! Thank you so so much for sharing!!! You are an absolute joy to watch and listen to! I’ve learned so much from you. I think the biggest take aways are to just roll with the punches and imperfect is perfectly perfect! (Which I need to remind myself on the daily). Dials down my anxiety tremendously!!!! You are an amazing inspiration! ❤
I appreciate all that you shared. I had years of going to seminars for quilting, smocking,, and watercolors before becoming involved with card making. All of that was fun at the time but I always looked liked like I mask moving out when I left the house. Sometimes allotted space was meager or there were too many sewing machines and irons I use for the electrical service. Perhaps getting older made hauling stuff around less desirable but I think rude people was the biggest problem. At almost the end of a two hour card class, a woman spilled her 40 oz drink over the entire table, ruining the work of 5 people. People who spend time talking to their neighbor and missing instruction were not only distracting, they held up the class when the instructor would have to start all over for their benefit. I get the appeal of going to in-house events and meeting instructors, but I doubt I would ever do that again. I LOVE online classes. Everything is handy, from extra supplies and foods I prefer to eat and having my own bathroom and bed at the end of the day.. I only have one friend who does paper crafts but our schedules don’t work for us to work together so we share what we do in texts and when we do get together. I’m not delusional that you, Gina, Jennifer and others are my friends, but it feels that way when I’m agreeing with what you’re talking about, or even better, when I’m laughing along with any of you. It is always a joy to watch you. ❤ ,
Dear Cathy, thank you for answering my question!!! I would have loved to be there live when you answered bit I was working and I could connect only almost at the end of the Q&A session! Thank you again, and now I'm watching the whole of it!! Love from a very sunny and bright Sardinia 🥰🥰
Hi Cathy, just caught your Q&A - great company and information while I tidied up my crafting space before the next batch of cards gets underway! Had to laugh out loud when you said "but there is a joy that I feel just in being um alone yeah I know that sounds weird huh"...No!....that's exactly how I feel. I love being alone in this little room looking out over the backyard. Dearly beloved is most often on the other side of the wall watching TV, but that's ok....I am alone in my world of cardmaking and all is well. Love your videos - having you, Jennifer, Gina, Kristina, Tim all at my fingertips while I work is wonderful. AND I like knowing you're just over the border in MN.
I LOVE that you love to share with us the way you do. And HOORAY for your side!!!! No Negativity - just FUN! Thank you for all of the time and effort you put into this lovely and friendly channel. My favorite channel on RUclips for sure!!!
Caught the replay and loved it! You are so authentic and an utter joy. Thank-you for taking the time to answer everyone's questions and taking the time/effort to post product links.
Thank you Cathy! Lots of great info! Since you weren’t crafting, i felt ok to just listen - so you accompanied me on a walk with my dog! We had a lovely time 😊 Oh, also, i actually started watching before the walk & noticed that the replay didn’t have the option to see the chat comments. Is that something that will show up later? Thanks!
Cathy, this Q & A was the best I’ve seen in years! Maybe the best ever! Your answers were succinct and extremely helpful. I’ve been crafting most of my life, and it was interesting to see how many opinions we have in common. I subscribe to about 50 channels but in the end the true experts and most inspirational people come down to 3 to 5 for card making. You know who you are and the info is complimentary. Besides you, Jennifer and Gina, I think I’m a fan of Connie Stuart. the woman is an absolute idea machine! Her energy can be exhausting but she doles out content like dumping a big bag of m & m’s in our laps - beyond generous! And you stand out from the pack for your expert design advice! You can do it all, but your taste and clean and simple are my favorite take away!
Loved this video Cathy thank you ❤ I’m really angry that I had to watch it on replay but just couldn’t make it at 3am 😅your an inspiration to all of us 🥰
Really enjoyed this Q&A. Thank you for your time. Would be great to see you design with Gina. Have mostly her items and also Lisa Horton from England. Enjoy others but cannot resist Gina’s kits
Lynn Le Bel Watched the replay! Enjoyed the Q and A. I think you are lovely inside and out. It's a shame people are negative, they should keep the negativity to themselves. I enjoy the things you teach and how you teach. Pink and orange are great colours but blue is my favourite 😊
For the person that asked the glue question…… I’ve struggled and struggled and struggled with this! My hands shake, due to my disease, and when I attempt to lay down a glued object to my card, it would smear glue onto my card and leave a snail mark(as I called it😂..like as in a slime mark) on my card! The work around that I Finally found is to use Tombow glue in the green and white bottle! I put it on and allow it to dry, it remains very sticky, and will stick to my paper! I don’t know of another two way glue like this except for a two way glue pen, and I never had any luck with those! No more glue leaking out from under die cuts! No more snail looking marks! I’m super happy with it! Just put it on fairly thin, and it will dry Quickly!
I used to be on RUclips as a product reviewer and when I a thumbs down I took it as they didn't care for the product but SO many would make a point of being SOOOOOOO over the top rude to ME as a person not a presenter of facts... It got so bad I had to just stop. I'm loving crafting as so many aren't rude but now and again people just get on and say HORRIBLE things... so ... grrrr.... but as you say HURT PEOPLE def HURT people and unmedicated is what unmedicated does...
Thank you Cathy for giving us some insights not only by the way of crafty knowledge, but also about how you manage you, what makes you tick, what is difficult. I was surprised at the question about frequent nasty comments. I am ashamed to admit that it is so much worse where I live (Germany). And it is not just the comments, it's the content creators, too. They go on forever about who stole what from whenever they first thought of it. How depressed they are about it, and outraged, and how they MAY have to turn their channel into a members-only access because of all that nastiness. And all the while, they are claiming as their own designs something I saw maybe 8 years ago on an international channel. So I just unsubscribe. I don't need those bad vibes. I would rather stay with you and your friends where most everyone is friendly and I feel welcome.

You were pretty when you were younger. You still are. The Good thing about growing older is that others Can read what kind of person you are. You look like you’ve been happy smiling and laughing a lot. And that’s Good. When my son was younger I thought him to read faces. We always knew which Teacher was kind and which scolded all the time. ❤️❤️🕊🕊🕊. So be happy your face tells what kind of person you were. 🙏🙏🕊❤️🕊❤️🕊❤️🕊❤️🕊❤️
Great video and you answered allot of questions. I've heard recently that products don't last forever and wonder if the lady that had trouble embossing if her embossing powder was old. Thanks for answering all our questions. Can we do this again?
Great video, very informative Cathy. I'm interested in how you said you store your stencils. The link to items you mentioned in the video doesn't work. It takes me to Link Deli but it's empty. Thank you!
Not only are you my BOOPY friend, you’ve also got a great taste in music! Very jealous you got to see the purple one!! It’s world Goth day today - you should do a Merry GOTHMAS card 🦇🦇🦇 Really enjoyed the Q&A!

I LOVE to be alone in my craft room to just do my thing. If I want to talk to someone, I talk to myself. 😂😂
AMEN!
I don’t know if you caught this but Carmen was asking what is the material on the magnets used in the Misti? I use a piece of wide blue painters tape.
It's just tape from Taylored Expressions!
Looking pretty today Cathy!
Wasn’t able to watch live. Hi Cathy
i love my empress large and small and now that I'm over cutting the magnet... it's on and everyday crackin'
Great Q&A!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing, i would like to ask you ...what inks pad would you recommended?
The ones I mentioned are all great! Gina K. , Simon Says Stamp, and Concord & 9th!
ANSWER TO Printing on vellum question: You can run your vellum through the inkjet with no problems, if you choose the right print medium. Adding a sheet of copy paper will not make a difference. It's about the surface, not about transparency or weight. Does your printer have a choice for "transparencies" still? If it does, choose that. You just got Coca Cola all over your face " I don't wear a bra"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 just love the way you are❤
Have a wonderful weekend ❤️🤍💙
Joyce in Ocala What do you use to pick up sequines??

Hi from New York😊
I missed the live😞
Nice
Hi kathy
I think you skipped number 67..
Oh shoot! I know someone asked a similar question about where design ideas for cards come from. I was trying to save time. : )
If can say something nine do not say anything
Agree!
Hey Cathy!
Catching you on the replay today!
I’m so incredibly sorry that you’ve ever received any hateful comments!!
