Such amazing quality. I don’t like the floor ducting either but that kitchen is great. Love where the sink is and the dishwasher. AND I love where washer/dryer is!!! Ooo that’s nice.
There it is!!!
The water manifold I seen some time ago...brilliant...should be standard in all hi end 5th wheels.
This is a ONE ton towable unit, not a half ton. We just purchased a 2021 DRV Mobile Suite, 41 RKSB4. We love it! It's super warm and propane lasts almost twice as long as our other RV. Slides are not drafty and smooth to retract. Cabinetry is beautiful, we choose the Latte (light linen) with cherry wood trim. I like the carpet especially in the bedroom, nice to wake up to. We live full time on our own property.
Dang. That’s a nice unit. Definitely you’ll need a super duper truck to haul.
That is a serious frame, I would have like to see it as a triple axle with that GVWR at 21K. I also like that they used a fiberglass roof instead of the rubber roof, and nice wood tone coloring.
I'm glad you didn't lose your footing on the carpeted steps. That's an accident waiting to happen.
That is an amazing fifth wheel. I like the engineering and that they kept it to two axles rather than three lighter axles.
Luxurious Island in the Kitchen with NO sink! I was starting to think that they stopped making those. Great one. Thanks.
Interior Tour starts at 6:33
You are absolutely correct on the drv frame it is the best in the industry. I watched your reviews 3 different drvs lately, and normally when you do a review one of the main things you look at is the suspension The Equalizer the axles. But you've not said a word about the independent suspension on the D RVs which to me is just as important as the beefy frame.
House prices here in california keep climbing you'll find mine for sale and me living in one of these
We live on CA I keep trying to convince my wife to live in one of these and buy one. She says no.
Check out my rv
@@erikgonzalez2278 YOU need to get rid of the wife and get your own rv. The rv is cheaper than the wife.
Move to Texas and you can buy a real house and one of these
@@whiteandnerdytuba yeah but my profession pays 16 bucks an hour vs the 52 an hour I make in california plus my pension I can retire at 50 instead 67 in texas
How do you have all those options in such a nice trailer and a back up camera isn't standard
Very elegant and luxurious.
FINALLY a real size night stand. Why they never like giving any is just crazy! Pricing is nuts tho! I still have not seen anything that makes me want to sell my Cougar front living 5th wheel! Love you videos!
That is one seriously beautiful fifth wheel
Love the wood trim in this unit. That’s one of my favorite styles, but it’s a little too dark for my wife’s taste. The longer 44 foot DRV model has an actual desk to the right of the dinette area, which was one of our wish-we-had-one, but didn’t get it in our RV. It always surprises me when something weighs that much and only has 2 axle’s. I would have thought that anything over 20K would require 3 axle’s. We have a 19K RV Fifth Wheel with 2 8K axle’s, but only have 2K left for cargo. That rig is 2K heavier but still has more than 3K available for cargo storage. I wonder how they did that?
If I had the shekels, this would be the DRV layout that I would buy, partially because of the location of the kitchen sink... it is NOT in the island.
I told Santa what I want for Christmas he said it wouldn't fit under the tree lol !!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS
That is a beautiful 5th wheel and one of the best floor plans on the market in my opinion, lots of open and usable space. I have a question which I see posted all the time regarding DRV's typically and that is many folks dislike the floor heat registers! Were would you have the heat registers placed if not in the floor? I think you need to consider that the belly of any trailer needs heat as well to keep all the plumbing warm in the winter months so the floor supplied heat registers really do multiple functions correct? Just curious as this topic always made we wonder what other options were available. Keep up all the great reviews very helpful. Happy Holidays
That's a purdy trailer. My IDI 7.3L could pull it... just not very fast, and I'd be terrified to brake with it unless I upgraded the brakes to bigger brakes! The brakes on the fifth wheel would be doing all the work! Beautiful trailer!
look out, here come the weight police. You know, all of us towing with 7.3L Powerstrokes shouldn't be towing anything nowadays compared to the new 6.7L
@@myleshansel7950
Indeed. I personally question anyone who would be willing to pull any modern DRV with an OBS or earlier truck. Just too much weight.
@@TheUnsureFox I was just joking, I know it's WAY to much camper for my 7.3L
Looks good!
Wow! That is gorgeous.
Great video of trailer you can see the craftsmanship in building it. For 149,000 I think it well worth the price.
excellent presentation!
You don’t know what space is in a fifth wheel bedroom until you see a Bighorn 3890SS. That’s what I currently have and it’s not too overpriced like a bunch of stuff you show
It’s in the details and high end tech... Nice rig...! 👊🏻
Nice design. However it looks like the bedroom isn’t accesible without opening the big slide. For $179k I would want slide toppers on it.
Thats so Cool!
Great job on your videos! I like pace of your videos, it shows you are respectful of the people's time who are watching them. Can't say that about some of your competing channels.
Luxe is the best of the best.
$175K and back-up camera is a “option”...seriously?!!
Why two 6 inch channels welded together and not just one 12 inch?
That’s a retirement rig right there would have liked to seen it with all slides in and then out from an interior perspective. Overall very nice.
DRV's are not generally a traveling type of RV. What I mean is they are pretty much useless while your traveling. With all the slides in you cannot get to much. (Some you can get to a few things but not usable comfortably.) I have one and you need to put one or two slides out to really be able to survive over night. With this said the DRV is a true full time RV and generally your living in this type of trailer so your not limited on time like you might be if your just using vacation days so stopping at night and getting an actual RV site is not unreasonable. We love our DRV Mobile Suites. We also have a 40 foot Jayco Recon Toyhauler that if we are going somewhere that doesn't involve getting an RV site every night we can use it and have access with the trailer in the closed position. DRV trailers are very nice trailers but there are other very nice trailers out there that use the same components for much less money. The detail and bing built as a true full time RV is the biggest difference.
Nice!
Some fantastic margins on these.
I love the individual ability to turn off water lines.
I like that you can get to the top two places without opening a slide that that's the loo and the fridge
That is an awesome rv! Thank you!
Very nice 5th wheel. Question. Over 20000lbs. At what point do you need tripple axles? Maybe this should have them?
I've often wondered that, myself. Or, maybe like the motor homes and place dually axles? I too feel as though that is right at the limit for that particular setup, even with those (need I say) excellent tires it has.
The layout is nice, but for that price I would expect at least a bath-and-a-half.
So thats how the other half lives
Randy Bryant the other half live in houses
Carol Howard my house nearly doubled in value in 10 years.
We thought of that too, but putting a house on our already paid off 10 acre retirement property at our age was not in the cards after Covid, we did choose this for upgraded living and traveling, plus were in fire region part of the year. Fire was 50 miles from our property and we were mandatory evacuated. So having your home not burn up in a fire will be comforting. No one buys an RV at any price for it depreciated value.
Great walkthrough also one really nice model.
Drv Owners Group
Nice floor plan but I don't like the stove right next to that beautiful entertainment center. The dish washer if you have to have could have been placed in the inland close to the sink area. Thanks for sharing JD. Hope you and the family had a wonderful Christmas.
I am somewhat surprised that there are only 2 axles on this unit with a GVWR of 21,000 lbs. The 4 Goodyear tires with 125 psi in them can only support 19,220 lbs per Goodyear (4,805 lbs per tire). It seems like you would need a third axle.
Remember that about 4,500lbs of the GVWR at full load would rest on the tow vehicle. It's also highly unlikely that any family would load it up with over 3,800lbs of cargo.
@@BigTruckBigRV If you lived in it full time, it is conceivable that you could use up most of if not all of the cargo carrying capacity.
After you spend every nickel you have on this, why would you need a safe?
northerniltree for your revolver
Mobile Suites is probably the only make in the fifth wheel market that is better than a solitude. Though you can get the same luxury and quality for a lot less, with a solitude
DRV and Grand Design are not comparable. DRV is WAY nicer, but much more expensive. Grand Design might be more comparable to a Jayco (except the Pinnacle). Only thing better than a DRV is a New Horizon.
Solitude does not come close to the construction or materials as DRV. GD I'd more inline with Keystone Montana
Guess someone hasn't seen a Luxe 5th wheel yet....
Nice Unit..
Are there ceiling fans and Is it Base price the way it sits now?
$178k on sale for $149K and in eight years it will be $33k. Go figure!?!
The style inside looks very dated. But I suppose that appeals to older people. It looks like grandma's house, lol.
@Carol Howard haha! As a former realtor I've been in a LOT of grandma houses.
Can this be towed by the F250?
You would need a 350 and probably a dually
Nice trailer
Wow that trailer is amazing
Could you go over the no boundaries 19.1? I know you did a quick walkthrough of some of the no boundaries models but no I don't like anyone else's reviews of trailers they aren't very in depth or honest
Its beautiful...but just not seeing the 175k as compared to others.
ultimate luxury??? I think these terms are used all over the board. Luxury yes. Ultimate Luxury??? show me the jacuzzi, the pizza oven, the king size sleep number bed and the roof top patio.
We have a 2019 44ms Dallas just over a year now and love it. Have had just a few minor issues mostly cosmetic. We are full time. If you are looking at DRV speak with Alicia at Rolling Retreats. You won't find a better price.
For the price I am very disappointed in the bath counter and storage.
Na very old fashioned! Sorry but looks like something my Nanna would have chosen!🥺😩🥴
How is this not a triple axle?
Hey JD, that guy is stealing your tires and wheels off your truck!
Definitely half ton towable
No main touch screen?
Merry Christmas
That’s the higher end model? Where are y’all getting that price from???????????
That’s not worth more than 60-70$ at MOST
It’s beautiful but the master has no door or privacy. ??
It's a pocket door to master
For that kind of money they cut the teakwood seat. A mold is mass produced saving them money and ruining the whole rig. I will stick with redwood less money and more for the money.
why does livingroom and kitchen have to be all together. hate that
But it still has floor heat registers.
Floor ducting is horrible!
A. Porter is there another option for heat?
@@jamesbeaman6337 They could use a radiant floor system or an Aqua Hot hydronic system.
Sounds expensive. What RV brands currently use either of them?
Grand Design gets the heat registers off the floor. They are in the toe kicks.
Brown wood cabinets to me looks outdated
175,000$ but no slide out covers riiiiiiiight. Horrible deal, just trying to triple the price and hurt your customers.
Have fun moving that 😂 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nice but same ole’ floorplan as every fifth wheel.
The biggest storage doesn’t even have a slide system??!!!! Really?
That’s sad cause if it’s that much it should have. A outside kitchen
Why are layouts so repetitive. Show me a 2 bedroom 2 bath that doesnt suck
ya'll need to chill my gosh
This is not luxury.,trailers don't last long on the road, aren't made to be pulled as a trailer for 18wheeker.
Overpriced and unimpressive.
Interior tour at 12:08
I like LUXE. Wasn't impressed with this.
Not nearly as nice as units i have seen at half the price... just sayin
21000lbs...
Really nice check out my rv
Nice unit but needs more outside
Nice unit but need some more outside storage
its over for 150000dollartrailercels
Not impressed at 180k.
150k and no mid bunk or separate room for kids and only 1 toilet that'll be a big pass too over priced
Weird tire/wheel size. Get a real RV - a Diesel pusher with 22.5's.
Floor vents 🤮
TheeLobStar bet you got floor vents in your house. So it wouldn’t be much different
BIG TRUCK BIG RV, HELLO,DRV, are as great as they go,there is someone that I follow, they sold ALLtheir land
