😳 OHMYGOODNESS! THIS BEACON IS GORGEOUS! I'm shocked on how light it is compared to other 5th wheels not as nice, especially with this having REAL WOOD! I LOVE the Wood on the fridge door's but I'd definitely opt out on that due to being able to open cabinet doors more. And it's unnecessary weight. But I absolutely love this and the price tag is definitely in a Great range for this size and the Beauty and luxury of it.

We've got a 2019 397TH, with 3 ACs on high, fridge on elec, TV's and microwave going I'm drawing 42 amps. Something these coaches usually come with is a load management scheme. It will turn off an AC compressor for a few minutes to take care of a higher load
New ac units are now inverter series for high end seer and have variable speed compressors. Meaning it is probably never all 3 on max draw. Even if so it’s been converted from ac/dc voltage.
This is my favorite rv ever, but at 42 ft. (is that right?) it is too big to maneuver easily. I am glad that manufacturers are realizing that people would rather have bright and light interiors. Wonderful video showing the features.

Kitchen is 70% of the space. This is basically a food truck. But I do love the living room. Living room was very impressive and beautiful. I'm not saying the kitchen was bad. It looked great, but it took up 70% of the space. Space that could be used better. Am I buying a meals on wheels truck or a Travel trailer? Like, what is this?
Never ceases to amaze me. So many of these gorgeous, expensive, huge campers have no nightstand or cubbies on either side of the bed. Immediate deal breaker. Hubby has a cpap that he has to use when he sleeps. These RV designers need to get on the ball with what customers want and need!
@@GinTweety82 I'm sorry, WiFi has absolutely nothing to do with internet, a control system can run over WiFi with no internet connection. You're just thinking of it that way because that's what it's most commonly used for. I install custom home audio and control it the exact same way, over a residential wifi system, the control does not need internet..peace !! Think of it this way, you have a processor and the control pads, they communicate over WiFi but there's no need for internet 👍

On long trips, just don’t take the extra gear you’d need for that spot where the dishwasher would sit. Besides modern dishwashers use less water than doing them in a sink.🙂
That is the nicest interior I have seen in a fifth wheel - really deluxe and homey. The thing I didn't like was the small fresh water tank. You did not mention the generator.
Just Beautiful! This one is my favorite. I love the separation between kitchen and living room space. The Kitchen is gorgeous with all that space and the beautiful lighting. I would have loved to see the TV. Also a queen sized. bed would be perfect, so as to have end tables on both sides of the bed. I can't believe the low price for A unit like this, when I say low price it's in comparison to other RV's that are this nice.
with all of the switches being wireless is there a small battery that one day in the future you will have to change or does it have a low voltage line behind them.
That has one of the nicest TV/theater areas I’ve seen in an RV… I wonder if anybody has ever done a retractable screen/projector set up to give yourself a full wall experience… If I can ever convince my wife that we can ditch the animals, the house, and live the mobile lifestyle, that would be the only thing I would miss… I have a killer home theater and love my big-screen entertainment.

I'm originally from Mississippi. I didn't know what the difference between getting dusted with snow and actual snow weather is until I spend last winter in Maine. I now have a knew saying, "Cold without snow (not dusted with snow) is just human cruelty." I am missing Maine right now. I'm a traveling nurse. We full time in our RV that we just bought in November. I didn't know anything about this and other RV channels on here. I have learned a lot from this channel. He is very educational and objective about RVs. I have several questions for him on this particular RV. I will have a dually by the end of this year to pull a 5ther that I will get by the end of next year.

Adding new Hurcules H 901 12 ply all steel tires onto my 15" rims. My rv previously had 10 ply tires with a max cold psi of 80. The Hurcules 12 ply tires have a max cold of 95 psi. Will my stock rims safely hold the extra psi.

JD have you had any trouble with the Insignia oven. Some people complain that the oven flame goes out when cooking. No one is getting any help from manufacturer of the oven or RV. Maybe you will have some pull. Thanks
Going to kingsville texas late July to visit the mother in law. Looking to leave with a ranch hand bumper for my 2019 f250 and some other goodies. I had my windows tinted at the Neesen dodge place last time on my 3500 chevy van several years ago and windows still look great. Coming from Denver Colorado. Any recommendations on that bumper. I did buy a bumper years ago from a detail place next to a ford dealership. I think they both are no longer in business. The bumper was a trail boss. I enjoy the pace of South Texas. Looking forward to that trip.
Better to pay $1,500 for this a month then apartment or house and never own shit. And when you get ready you can move it anywhere. This is also what makes this better than a tiny home. Because you can move this so easy instead of a tiny home. Only thing I see wrong with this RV is they should have put a loft for the kiddos in the top. People are looking for options for their families now Ben's housing is becoming too unreachable for the future of the families.😥

Is it sub par in your opinion compared to something like the Montana Legacy edition? I would love to see you compare and contrast these two 5th wheels and which one you think would be better for the quality and the money. Great video! I’m hoping someone will post videos showing what the interiors of trailers with slide-outs look like when closed up. I ask because there are times when you’re in a parking lot or rest area where slide outs aren’t allowed of physically possible. I’ve heard many slide outs models can really be entered and occupied with slide outs in the retracted position. Comments?

If everything is controlled by WiFi, what do you do when the grid goes down?
WiFi is a private network within the RV, as long as you have power it will work.

Question: The heating system. Have you taken it out in cold weather or snowy weather? Are there heating ducts in the bedroom?

So when that control panel goes down you lose control of everything? There's no manual engagement?
Interesting on the size you say or specs say are 2”. My 2023 41 LKB has 3” side walls. Any thoughts?

Do you have to store your food outside in bear country. There are black and grizzly bears have been breaking into nice units..to get food. I slowed us down re: buying one.

I noticed in one of your videos you didn’t necessarily tout the ability of the Van Leigh’s ability to hold in hot and cold air. Is it sub par in your opinion compared to something like the Montana Legacy edition? I would love to see you compare and contrast these two 5th wheels and which one you think would be better for the quality and the money. Love how informative your videos actually are compared to others.

Great video! I’m hoping someone will post videos showing what the interiors of trailers with slide-outs look like when closed up.
I ask because there are times when you’re in a parking lot or rest area where slide outs aren’t allowed of physically possible. I’ve heard many slide outs models can really be entered and occupied with slide outs in the retracted position.

Beautiful rig what surprises me about these bigger rigs is they still only run duel axels rather then tri axel. Any idea why they don’t put 3 axels under these bigger ones

Omgsh! It’s way to fancy for camping in my book! Hahahahhaah. It is absolutely beautiful! Do you ever feel like you don’t spend enough time outside once you have something like this? I have a tiny pop up and it forces you to be outside. So just curious it’s my biggest concern about upgrading to an RV! But again this was super fancy!!! Beautiful and tons of space!
