Alright, here's the rundown on the Blackview BV 9200, a rugged smartphone launched in 2023. This phone is loaded with specs, okay? We're talking 14GB RAM, 256GB storage, a crisp 2.4K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it's running on Android 12. It supports NFC, and the battery is a solid 5000mAh, with 30W wireless and 66W fast charging. The phone itself is bulky but well-built, tipping the scales at 315 grams. The camera setup is versatile, with a 50MP rear camera and a 16MP selfie camera. The display is adaptive, so it adjusts brightness based on your environment, and it even has a night light feature for easier reading. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, so it’s pretty durable.
But let me get into the user experience. The phone is ultra-responsive, snappy when switching between apps, and great for gaming. It has some unique features like a tool bag app with a bunch of handy utilities, and a function button that you can customize for quick actions. I buy don't any nowadays used to own two with the thermal cams. The biggest issue is they have no software update support. There are tough I used to jump on mine and crack walnuts. I would not work with my cricket provider even though unlocked.
Do they count them bezels in the screen size calculation? If so that might be about a 6" diagonal by the look of it?

IMO buying a cheap phone means I don't worry about it being dropped and getting broken...thus removing the need for an ugly bulky 'rugged' case. I'd simply buy a cheap Android, and a silicone cover for good grip which still gives it a little protection.
I feel like the world is gone mad with overly-expensive super thin phones....which then creates a need for bulky protective covers.
Buying a cheap rugged phone is like getting a ceramic coating on your dented 10 year old Kia.
It actually has an 8gig ram, not 14
can be expanded to 14 but the real issue in those phones its than they dont count with any software updates in android, and got a whole world of troubles (its like lottery) I know it because I got a BV 9700 PRO and I got a lot of troubles.
Example you need extra USB C cables because BV use a special long pin.
Normal cables cant enter inside the charging port.
Second you are subject to many failures like a wrong text line inside the phone software example screen shot can come in chinese in the screen or in other language.
So yes this review not its any close to a real experience in these rugged phones.
