Those potato tacos are a traditional Mexican dish eaten during lent mostly, but they’re good anytime. They are soo ridiculously good especially with a freshly made, extra spicy salsa verde. I crack open a taco or five, and add shredded iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced tomatoes, a dollop of crema, and crumble mild queso fresco over the whole thing. Add a spoonful of salsa before eating each one. Crunchy radishes on the side. Finish off with a cold gulp of horchata. Boiiiii 👌🏼

I always wondered.... Is Parmesan that cheap in America that you can buy it in buckets? In almost every video they use a lot of Parmesan... Here in my country I would probably spent half my loan on Parmesan when I would use it that often 😹
BTW....Who peels cooked potatoes with a peeler? Knife 🔪 works better
The vast majority of the parmesan we get in the US (and the kind Tasty uses) is not real parmesan. It's mass-produced "cheese product" with a sort-of-parmesan-like flavor that is available in a large green shaker from Kraft for about $3.00. Real Parmigiano Reggiano is available as well, but it's about $20.00 a pound and not as common.
I was about to say your wrong, but I did a quick search on wikipedia and, wow, you're actually right. That grated stuff in the bottle isn't "real parmesan." They can't even call it "Parmesan" in Europe lol.

You can get pre grated parmesan from kraft but its about 5 dollars or 15QAR/SAR/AED per 100 gm. Quite dry though.

The last one had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I had no idea what was going to happen lol
Today I made recipe number 3 or 4, the sliced potatoes in garlic and Parmesan. It didn't come out of the oven all brown and toasty like these and the cheese tried to keep the slices entwined in a cheesy embrace. But it was good enough. A very simple recipe . I think I would caution viewers not use too much Parmesan, or use very little, because it turns sliced potatoes into a casserole pretty quickly. Making potato recipes is a very cheap way to get by and I would recommend using more of them to others who are budget constrained and that's why I'm here and why I actually made these. I think the dish of scalloped potatoes and the fried potato pancakes recipes on other RUclips videos were more satisfying. But maybe I'm just getting tired of potatoes!

It's not that much if you get used. My grandmother used to make these every 29, and she would make a table full of gnocchi for all the family in... what? Half a hour? At first it may seem hard, but really, it's not so much! Also, those are really tasty. For me they are better in a simple tomato sauce than with butter, but well.
Also, you can broil them in the oven, if you want them with crispy cheese.
In my family it's a tradition to make it every 29th of the month,
So first hand I can tell you, it's exactly as hard as it looks.
(We use a different recipe which taste better but is harder to make)

I did the pasta one and it works it's so delicious. It takes a lot of time to shape the do but I think it's worth it my famhy loved it Its good when ur in a budget cuz u can make a lot of it instead of just buying a packet of spaghetti. I made a chicken Alfredo using the pasta I still have some left over Do I plan to make some mac and cheese or shrimp Alfredo
