These are great, purchased mine at Costco 2-3 years ago and it has saved my rear-end twice. Just make sure you charge it/re-charge it twice a year and leave it in your glove box.
I have the type S and I must say the customer service is excellent....had a problem with my unit and they sent me another one just by showing my proof of purchase no question asked

I just bought 3 of the TypeS s at Costco. I think I'll return one and get a Hulkman for our larger SUV / camper puller. Good recommendation. I was wondering if the TypeS quality is good (I like the case too). For the smaller car the kids drive and my wife's Highlander, I'll stick with the TypeS. Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
I used my friend's Type S the other day when i mistakenly left my van on overnight to crack the windows open. Worked right away. Really impressed. I went to get the Noco GBX45 but it is 3x the cost of the Type S Costco. I am wondering why the huge price difference and if it is justified. I just need it for emergencies if my passenger car battery dies. I do appreciate quality and will pay a premium if something is worth it but i don't know what the huge difference is between the NOCO and TYPE S
Dang side terminals. I had trouble seating the clamps. So I had no choice but to shave some of the plastic off of them and then they made enough contact.

The type S from Costco is junk. Wouldn’t start my truck. They sent a replacement and the same thing. Bummer. Total waste of money since I didn’t need it until the return window passed.

Since I have a diesel truck I would probably go with the big one, great review Josh 👍😁

The Hulkman is a better jump starter than the Type S is just about every way you can objectively compare them.

I just returned mine, I kept receiving a "battery protected, please start over" message and couldnt get it to work.
Do you know how long do these hold useable charge for if I’m planning on only using it in case of emergency battery drain in my car?
