I have both, the Neo tec2 and the SRL.....The installation is pretty easy and you tubers everywhere simplifies it. I ride a new 2019 Harley Davison Road Glide, and here is the goods. The SRL is a huge pain in the ass to connect to others Senas when doing a gang ride. The volume of the speakers is crap at best, honestly once above 70 MPH you cant even tell its on except for the occasional blip of noise, if you are trying to listen to music, like a lot of people do on these long rides just forget about it. OR, do what I did, I saw a you tube video where a guy bought 20 dollar over the ear headphones he cut the speakers out of the cups and soldered them to the Sena wires. It was pretty easy and when I did it it looked like crap when I was done but the speakers were WAY better and louder then the Senas.
I fitted my old Sena 10S, which has all I need and great sound, but it does stick out away from the side of the helmet more than I'd like. Shoei needs to make this helmet able to accept any unit much better.
Thanks Shaun! I was really struggling with the wire, I couldn't get the cheek pads back. Your tip to first locate the wire and then place the plastic thingy worked out. Thanks again!
I wish they hadn't married up with one manufacturer.i use the cardo system which I find better ,I buy shoei products and dont want to be forced to buy senna
Does the helmet close properly with the boom mic and the chin curtain installed? With my HJC helmet if the chin curtain is installed then it catches on the boom mic when the front of the helmet is closed.
The SENA is far more integrated. No box on the side. Plus with a flip lid box has to be quite a way back which can be more difficult to use. But depends on your requirements. If all your friends on Packtalk might be better to go the same.
Personally I started using my AirPods Pro’s … brilliant with the noise canceling and music and voice quality and integrated directly to my phone and watch. Means I communicate via cellphone to another rider but that’s not a problem for me and range is infinite :)
Sadly the Cardo Packtalk is far better - it can be fitted with just a little minor faffing. (Sena - the only company thinking that something stuck on the outside of a crash helmet need not be waterproof!!)
I bought one of these garbage the cable to charge it I lost it and I don't even know it doesn't have it, nobody sells it to you, they say they don't sell it and I only have 3 weeks in my life I would buy this brand again

Once again Sean, well done...cheers from New Zealand... gotta get a Neotec 2...👍👍
Yet again another great to the point, honest video from motolegends.
Nice video, but the only disadvantage of these integrated systems is if you want to change helmet make you cant transfer the system.

Brilliant and very easy to follow, many thanks. Can I ask where did you put the aerial

Sena is known and used worldwide. Cardo is US used. But nobody said that Cardo cannot do the product which suits to this helmet.
Excellent. Thanks for that

You need to pull the chin curtain when you close the lid, otherwise it will catch the mic when you close it and your mic will be too low.
which way does the microphone face? On side has an arrow the other side has a little bump on it?
arrow to the mouth, the bump is to hold the foam mike cover on
@@battsonbikes1919 thanks. That's what I thought
Bravo !
If my friend has another com type, like card for example, can we pair both?
Not really. They all say they pair with others but, in truth, it's always a pain.
@@Motolegends thank you for the honesty! 👍
Hi, how does the Sena compare to putting a packtalk bold on the side?

Yeah Sena is a dog
5 hours
Not waterproof
Poor sound
Keep the box and throw the rest away
