C-1 has the same armament as the E-1. I love low tier. This is the most interesting vehicle of the whole patch. There are maybe two dozen other aircraft that I would add that would all be under 2.0. I just took out the B-1 to grind the C-1. The game was 8 v. 9. My team got 5 kills, their team got 2 and the ground got the rest. _(not ground AA, just the ground)_ I was the sole survivor.
Especially in Arcade - not all those players are 'low level'. Take it from a long time level 100 who tends to play as is more around rank 3 (used to stay closer to 3.0 BR till they screwed with the placement on the F6F and F4U's with MG's) but also at times either for new planes, new mods, or just fun goes down to the lower ranks. Sure I almost have the entire US tech tree unlocked, but starting in the upper end of rank 4 and really in to the missile hell that is Rank 7+ the gameplay is really more boom and zoom/missiles/head on fights with a frustratingly high number of spawn campers - especially at the top end. Low tiers, especially when you find the other experienced players, is way more fun because Bombers aren't just target practice, turn fighting is more of a thing, instant death is a fair bit rarer - honestly more what I want from the game, feels more like 'Top Gun' or old war movies than what at higher VR's/ranks feels more like glorified jousting most of the time, with the occasional fun dogfight. Also, regarding the Hurricane - that's because most players don't understand how to use it. Cannon armed ones are a tad worse off cause of the impact on performance, but while they don't have the best engines or design for speed or the best roll rate - the wing design actually gives a good deal of lift and more importantly makes it a very stable gun platform so you can shoot way more accurately than some of the twitchier planes. I haven't faced the 109C yet (likely gonna have to try to now), but proper use of tapping flaps in and out and use of WEP - you can get a Hurricane around faster than a 109 to pull lead and down it. You just need to be smart enough to predict what the guy your going after is going to do (the 109 can roll faster in to the turn buy if you know he's going to or can make him go a certain direction you can beat him faster by turning first) or find one foolish enough to stay in a long turn fight with you. That and players who think 'boom and zoom' is the only viable strategy, are insanely easy to predict, and so overshoot after you dodge and get raked with guns.
I also noticed that the flaps make this plane turn so incredibly good (even though it drains alot of speed). The flaps seem very different to any other bf-109. I wonder what the historical context to this is.
Killed five in one match with the SBD-3. You can click multiple people down in one go, since at the br people usually just stay inside a two kilometer bubble and stall themselves out turning. There's also the great airbrakes. The only plane that can rival the SBD for clubbing is the He-100.
Biggest problem i spotted right away, fuel starvation, this plane like all bf 109 had fuel direct injection which allowed to do negative g manouvers without starving the engine but this plane does, i hope it is an oversight and gets fixed.
Yesn't, the Jumo-210Ga had direct injection (this was even alluded to in the devlog). However the Jumo-210D engine fitted to the Bf-109V, A, B and most productions models of the D had a normal floating carburator which cut on negative G's.
I love this plane. But with it's low BR, clubbing brand new players isn't axactly fun. I think I did like 7 or 8 matches and in almost every single match, half of my team were 109 C's. And we just rolled through bi-planes and P-26's on the other side. And with any other Tier 1 plane, was spaded in one match. Hopefully, in a few weeks experienced low tier players will get off the 109 C hype and we can get some more competetive matches at 1.7 again and I can explore the plane a bit more realistically.
This is the only vehicle I am interested in from the latest update. I don't play and am not interested in top tier. Top tier is over too quickly with all the missiles, air and ground. They're just not fun.
I returned to visit War Thunder after leaving 8 years ago because of cheating and poor maps. It look's like things have improved. Glad to see some new maps, but too many of the maps are still too unrealistic. Tanks don't belong in big cities. I wish there were more real historic maps with open tank terrain with small communities. For aircraft, what a big disappointment after flying in DCS for 7 years.

How does someone crash a biplane? Truly one of the misteries of all time
@@caralho5237they kept dogfighting but didn't look at the ground

Does this plane remove profligates from nevada?
The best plane of update
Awe. True to Caesar
I hate the Legion, but I had to.
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
Legion is best faction
I’ve had a lot of warthunder videos in my feed, and a lot of fallout videos in my feed.
This picture confused me greatly

I was thinking that flying this plane. I just assumed maybe it was unique to this plane.

the H-100 has a contender for the best biplane-clubber now
CAESAAAAAAAARR
Fellow man of culture.

Heyyy I was in ur game lol
More low tier updates. Give us the actually good stuf gaijin.
7.92mm , nah you can keep this "hidden gem"
I keep meaning to fly this thing, but my f8u has been to much fun lately
I just got this plane from one match with the Yak-1B, but they changed the settingd a bit so I will need to change my controls
If ya don't know ya won't know......the BF-109 C-1 goes HARD.
From the bottom the C variant looks a whole lot like the ta 152
А вот среди русского собщества War Thunder ещё никто не снял обзор на Bf/109 C-1
i played one match in it(unspaded), got 7 kills and had it spaded
Seal clubbing for the win
It is actually 2.0 BR. Did you get a pre-release model?
Only in arcade. Every other mode has it on 1.7.
Looks like it's 2.0 AB, 1.7 RB/SB
OK RB vs AB - spoke too soon.

What "big city" tank map do you speak of? I have been playing for years and have never seen a big city map.
