Great video Ryan! I found out when I resealed my oil pan - you have to reach up as far as you can inside the sides of the block and wipe away all oil. Otherwise it will drip down and compromise your seal before it has had time to set. Also if you do it again, consider ditching Toyota FIPG and use HondaBond instead. Some forum guys have said that Toyota changed the formula of FIPG and it isn’t good anymore😢
Did you check to see if the oil is coming from the distributor and running down the engine and onto the oil pan. 5S distributors like to leak. Car is looking good. I have a 91 Red N/A car as well.
I was hoping it was the distributor so I changed that seal as well but i can confirm its the oil pan leaking for sure. Going to try a cork gasket and see if I have better luck.
The car was repainted so im not sure what the color code is. Your best bet is to remove the gas door and take it to an automotive paint supplies shop and have them color match.
Car looking great ! It is a major job to get these cars back on the streets! Great work!
Thank you. Appreciate the recognition as it does take a lot of work and determination to DIY

Thanks for the tip. I do believe the oil dripping compromised the seal. I had it drian down for 2 days but there was still trace of oil
