ഒരു EV owner ആണ് ഞാൻ. വളരെ നല്ല interview. രണ്ട് ഭാഗവും കണ്ടു. വണ്ടിയെ കുറിച്ച് വളരെ അറിവുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ. EV ഇപ്പൊൾ പുള്ളിക്ക് ചേരുന്ന പരുവം ആയിട്ടില്ല.
എന്നാൽ EV യെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള പല ധാരണകളും ശരിയല്ല. അവയൊക്കെ മാറും എന്ന് കരുതുന്നു. EV യെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ പറയുന്ന കണക്കുകൾ പലതും ശരിയല്ല.
1) ഒട്ടും ഓട്ടം ഇല്ലാത്ത ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാർ മാത്രമല്ല, അത്യാവശ്യം ഓട്ടം ഉള്ള മണ്ടന്മരും വണ്ടി എടുക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. അങ്ങനെ ഉള്ളവരുമായി സംസാരിച്ചു നോക്കുക. ഞാൻ ഒരു ലക്ഷം കഴിഞ്ഞു.
2) KSEB ബില്ലിൻ്റെ കാര്യം (3000 -> 20000) ശരിയല്ല
3) 23 ലക്ഷത്തിന് പകരം 10 ലക്ഷം വണ്ടി വാങ്ങി ബാക്കി FD ഇടുന്ന കാര്യം (അത് ഇപ്പൊൾ വാങ്ങിയ hyrider നു ബാധകമാണ്). ഒരേ മോഡൽ നോക്കിയാൽ ഇത്രയും വില വ്യത്യാസം വരില്ല.
4) എറണാകുളം, തിരുവനന്തപുരം മാത്രമല്ല charging station ഉള്ളത്. Plan ചെയ്തു പോയാൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം മുതൽ ബാംഗ്ലൂർ വരെ പോലും വലിയ കുഴപ്പം ഇല്ലാതെ പോകാം (ഞാൻ പല തവണ പോയിട്ടുണ്ട്). പാലക്കാട് മുതൽ ബാംഗ്ലൂർ വരെ ഉള്ളതിനേക്കാൾ charger തിരുവനന്തപുരം മുതൽ പാലക്കാട് വരെ ഉണ്ട്.
5) battery വില ശരിയാണ്. എന്നാലും അത് മൊത്തമായി മാറ്റേണ്ടി വരാൻ സാധ്യത ഇല്ല എന്നാണ് അറിഞ്ഞത്. ഇപ്പൊൾ transportation സൗകര്യത്തിന് വേണ്ടി warrenty യില് ഉള്ള വണ്ടികൾക്ക് മൊത്തത്തിൽ free ആയി മാറ്റി നൽകുകയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്.
6) ബാറ്ററി വെള്ളം കയറി short ആകുന്നതിനേക്കൾ engine exhaust വഴി engine നു പണി വരാൻ ആണ് സാധ്യത എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. ബാറ്ററി, അതിൻ്റെ connectors ഒക്കെ IP 67 rated ആകാനാണ് സാധ്യത.
When you are planning to buy an EV, atleast note the following points (വാഹനം എടുക്കുമ്പോൾ (പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും EV എടുക്കുമ്പോൾ) ഏറ്റവും കുറഞ്ഞത് ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക)
1) Your daily usage (നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥിരമായ ഉപയോഗം) - distance, range (including possible degradation & reserve charge), time to charge, terrian, Driving style
2) *Properly* understand details provided by the manufacturer (വാഹന നിർമാതാക്കൾ നൽകുന്ന വിവരങ്ങൾ ശരിയായ രീതിയിൽ മനസ്സിലാക്കുക) - distance covered in single charge & time required for charging, read user manual, how to charge
3) Relation between power & range, a basic understanding of regen (വാഹനത്തിൻ്റെ power ഉം range ഉം തമ്മിലുള്ള ബന്ധവും, regeneration എന്താണ് എന്നുള്ള ഒരു ബോധവും)
4) Risks (കഷ്ട/നഷ്ട സാധ്യത, പരിമിതികൾ) - Planned trips, Capacity degradation, Maintenance cost, Battery replacement, Technology improvements, Bugs and other problems, Resale value, return on investment, Power failure, Charging halt, Lifetime of vehicle, Driving feel

@@lp6015 I don't know about future, but as of now electricity subsidy is given according to usage. So as long as you use the vehicle for domestic use (not taxi or company use), I think they can't come up with new meter. However there will be problems with grid. I hope it will be augmented in future. Installing seperate meter for EV is practically not possible as it only needs a 16A socket.
Eventhough if they go for industrial rates, I think it will be less than 10 rupee per unit. I don't think there will be sudden rate increase soon. It may take 5-10 years. I feel so.

Everything he told about electric applies to hybrid as well. Hybrid vehicles will not run once Hybrid battery is down. RUclips has videso showing this problem in Toyota Prius. Toyota hybrid cars cannot run with petrol alone. Trying to do so could cause severe damage to the Hybrid system is what mentioned in their website.
Another drawback is that as and when Hybrid battery gets older, charging efficiency will reduce thus drops mileage.
Compared to EV, battery replacement will not cost that high, this is the only advantage.

If any complaints are escalated to Toyota, they will tell the customer that dealer will take care care of...Imagine the situation where the dealer Nippon Toyota had cheated the customer...I had that experience ..When contacted Mr Babu Mooppan , he told that he will buy the vehicle back with 4 lakhs rupees depreciation...What a customer care ....

Boot space,thigh support,headroom എന്നിവ വളരെ കുറവാണ്. ഇന്റീരിയർ ക്വാളിറ്റി 10 ലക്ഷം വിലയുള്ള കാറിന്റേതിനു തുല്യമായതാണ്. ബോഡി റോൾ ഉണ്ടെന്നാണ് അറിയുന്നത്. സസ്പെൻഷൻ ശരാശരി മാത്രം. പരമാവധി 18-19 ലക്ഷം രൂപായ്ക്കുള്ള മുതൽ ഉണ്ട് .

He is very expert in four wheelers it is sure. He doesn't know nuclear energy is already using in our country for power generation, doesn't feel his confusion about electric vehicle only a hype. It is sure that electric vehicle is not suitable for his vehicle/ travel craze. Unlike petrol diesel price no government can hike electricity price or install a devise especially 4 ev users at home. If so other alternative for cheap charging is available.

Seltos city use max 15km kittullu. Service okke adipoli aanu. Lookwise featureswise ellaaam seltos aan better.

EVയെ പറ്റി ഇദ്ദേഹം പറയുന്നത് വളരെ കറക്റ്റ് ആണ് . ഞാൻ പണ്ട് തൃശ്ശൂരിൽ നിന്ന് തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തേക്ക് പോകുമ്പോൾ കൊട്ടിയം എത്തിയപ്പോൾ ദേശീയപാതയിൽ നിന്ന് ലെഫ്റ്റിലോട്ട് പോലീസ് തിരിച്ചുവിട്ടു. അവിടെ ബ്ലോക്ക് ആയി കിടന്നത് രണ്ടര മണിക്കൂറാണ്. നല്ല സൂപ്പർ വെയിലത്താണ് കിടന്നത്. പെട്രോൾ കുറച്ച് പോയാലും എസി ഇട്ട് സുഖമായി കിടന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള ഒരു സമയത്ത് EV ആയിരുന്നു പോയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ചാർജ് കഴിഞ്ഞ് വഴി ബ്ലോക്ക് ആക്കി അവിടെ കിടക്കുമായിരുന്നു. പെട്രോൾ വണ്ടി ആയതുകൊണ്ട് ഏത് ഉൾനാട്ടിലും നമുക്ക് എവിടെയെങ്കിലും നിന്ന് പെട്രോൾ കിട്ടും.

@@sanalkumarvg2602 സ്വന്തമായി ev ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും ദീർഘകാലം evയിൽ യാത്ര ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ഒരാളാണ് ഞാൻ(e2o generation 1st and 2nd). ഒരു മെട്രോ സിറ്റിയിൽ ഏതാണ്ട് 20 കിലോമീറ്ററോളം ദിവസവും യാത്രചെയ്തിരുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന , 2 ശതമാനം മാത്രം ചാർജ് കുറയും ac ittaal എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് വിശ്വസിക്കാൻ പ്രയാസമാണ്. അങ്ങനെയൊരു കാലം വരട്ടെ എന്ന് ആശംസിക്കുന്നു

Hybrid cars are run only by electric motor only. engine is used to charge the battery only ,There is no gear box connected with engine and the purpose of the engine is to generate electricity. If battery fails we had to change the battery we can' drive by engine only.

നല്ല രസമുള്ള വീഡിയോ. പക്ഷേ പുള്ളി CVT പറഞ്ഞത് തെറ്റാണ്. ഞാൻ G വേരിയൻ്റ് ആണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. മുൻപ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചത് മാനുവൽ വണ്ടി ആയിരുന്നു. എനിക്ക് 25 മൈലേജ് കിട്ടുന്നുണ്ട്. പിന്നെ ഇത് eCVT ആണ്. ഹാർഡ് അക്സലറേഷൻ ആണെങ്കിലും ഒരു വിധം നല്ല മൈലേജ് കിട്ടും. കാരണം ഹാർഡ് ആക്സലറേഷൻ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ എക്സസ്സ് എനർജി ബാറ്ററി എടുക്കും. ബാറ്ററി സഫീഷ്യെൻ്റ് ചാർജ് ആയാൽ പിന്നെ EV മോഡ് ആകും. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഡ്രൈവിംഗ് സ്റ്റൈൽ അത്ര അധികം മൈലേജ് ഇംപാക്ട് ചെയ്യില്ല.

Cvt ആണ് മൈലേജ് കൂടുതൽ കിട്ടുന്നത് കാരണം അതിന് torque converter ആയ steel belt ആണ് സെയിം activa പോലെ. മറ്റുള്ളത് Volkswagen dsg മൈലേജ് കിട്ടില്ല കാരണം 7 മത്തെ ഗിയറിൽ വരണമെങ്കിൽ 80 കിമി കഴിയണം. അതുപോലെ ചില വണ്ടികളിലും6 മാനുവൽ ഗിയറിലും 60 ആകണം 6 മത്തെ ഇടണമെങ്കിൽ
