What's that piece above the right reflector that falls out when you pull the original one off? Is it the cover for a tow hook?

Does this one actually clip into place using the OEM fixings? Or do you have to bend the clips into place like most others?
OEM fittings. Just push and click
Where's it from please mate? Bought a Zaero one and cba with drilling the clips and taking the bumper off, and the reflectors just fall back out 🙄

Looks great. What is holding the reflectors in place in the new diffuser though?
Centre clip holds them and there is an option to use screws in the back. Some of the the new diffusers now have better cutouts so you don't have to cut them.

Well i had ago i dousnt clip in iv screwed it down on the bottom and it cliped in there but the tabs will need screwing i tryed to screw them but ended op with screw coming out making tiny hole so gave up its on strong but maxton its a sh- fit

Not affected, sensors are in the bumper

@@lorenzototi3840 you need to drill the holes but I have a 120d so for me, removal of the whole bumper is needed because it’s impossible to screw from under the car, 0 space for drill or hands.
@t so it isn’t the same as video, with zaero you need to remove entire bumper.
Maybe also with diffuser used un video if you have diesel.. am I right? Thanks

I don’t think I could trust just the bottom bolts holding it on, I removed my whole bumper and use self tappers on all the tabs to hold mine

I just installed a maxton diffuser, from Maxton Design. Do NOT buy that one, it is one hell of a hassle to install and is really the cheapest of the cheap. If this part has all the clips and even the reflector middle clip hole already in place get this one and save hours of your time.
and the bolts?
Two original bolts, one each side. Underneath
I just received the maxton diffuser, and it includes 8 bolts, you know why?

@@Carjackd my diffusor is like yours, there are no holes, the theory is that you have to make holes, some people put the bolts some people not, im not sure If it could be problematic not to put bolts, for me it would be easier not to put bolts but I am afraid that not putting them will cause problems.

No mate, this has twin exhausts (one on either side) 120i has it just on the one side
