While 108mp mode is decent, it is better to use the 12mp binning mode instead. Personally I only use the 108mp when I am trying to get maximum detail at close range, but in general the 12mp mode will produce much nicer shots.
Low light videography iPhone is the clear winner. You can actually see the difference in both phones where iPhone manage to give you bit more details in night videography.. 😊
Lots of people are waiting for the 12 pro max for it’s extra camera capability but one are that I am curious about is using hand gimbals like the DJI Osmo mobiles. The iPhone’s lens stabilizer has fought them before so will it be worse or better with “sensor shift”, and will the OM4 be able to work with it? I hope you cover this next month 🤓
I think there's a trade off between the Samsung and iPhone. Samsung got that funky blueish glow, but apple also have that white edges around the leaves at 04:09. At 04:13 you also see that those white edges areas make the tree on the show up like it was a sticker on top of the photo (look at edges of leaves in the bright blue area in the top center at 04:13 ).
The S20ultra has an update out of the box that was necessary to update for the camera. It was clear you never updated it. As your unit is brand new. Very wrong
It had so many updates that made so many improvements. Also the fact it uses the ToF for focusing really well now, it improved it sooo much. The focus on the S20 Ultra is awesome now.
I just got the S20 Ultra. Guys don't buy it. Its glitchy and I'm an android user coming from S5,6,7,8 and now 9+. Today I got the Ultra and the pictures come out kind of blurry and it seems to overheat easily and eat away at that massive 5,000 mAH battery quickly especially if you throw it in 120 fps.
Dude even i thought the same about my base s20(exynos). It had really bad heating issues and bad battery life for the first week and then it got much better...

I like the S20 ultra it has more contrast and images just look better even if they are not "natural" like the iphone. I have an 11 pro max and while the images are more consistent in terms of focus the colors and the white balance is just way to warm for my taste.
I have been using it for couple of weeks with no issues so far (s20 ultra) , both phones has a great camera, but it is up to you whether you prefer to use android or IOS

More MP is bad on a small Camera lens. Because I can’t put big micropixels in each behind every MP. That is important for more light catching and details. That’s why Apple stayed with 12 MP so they can put bigger microP with 1.3 in it. With 64MP Samsung has only 0.7 microP in it. That means if u see a phone with more MP doesn’t mean better pictures. The software also is important to improve what is missing.
Agree. Clipping and blown out pics due to exposure. Also skin smoothing that is never really turned off. Indoor lighting pics comes out a blurry mess. Slow shutter speed causes motion blur
At 9:04 see the artifacts on trees . I am using Samsung s20 ultra and hate this oil pasted like overprocessed details very often. It is more noticeable on every image as well as videos when slightly zoomed in.
The s20 ultra still shoots better pictures in good lighting conditions. The weak spot of Samsung is low light environments, that's where it loses to the iphone. Other than that, the iphone has no features to brag about. With all the flaws that it's got, I still wouldn't trade my s20 ultra snapdragon for any other smartphone.

I have the S20U and S7 and S8, at a distance of 7 feet or more, small details that have color, like red or green magically become gray and yellow turns to white on the S20U but the S7/S8 show it correctly. This is my last Samsung. I only bought it because I got the S20U for $700 and planned to use the S7 as my cellphone only (battery going) and the S20U as a camera until the S7 completely goes. The S7 still has the best camera. S8 suffers from jello panning on video recording that the S7 doesn't. At this point, with the new S21 series taking away the SD Card, it's better to buy the iPhone, esp. since they can easily change your battery in a few years compared to the crap glue Samsung uses. Plus, Apple uses genuine Apple batteries, you never know what you'll get when Samsung says go to ubreakifix stores.

I dont see why people saying the samsung won in this, yes there were times where samsung was good. 0:55 the iphone showed more detail in everything especially in the shadows, where samsung you cant see clearly in the shadows and the hood is over blown. Overexposed highlight, looses detail in the shadows and poor video quality. that's the summary of the samsung phone in this video. i'm really disappointed that they haven't fix the issue until now.. the overblown highlight is still there, I came from the s7 then atm the note 8..

7:23 S20 Ultra is not limited to 8 bit. It does HDR10+ video recording, under advanced options which shoots at 10 bit.

The 12 pro Max camera doesn't come close to the S20 Ultra one. The colors look so washed out and the resolution seems lower when its in video mode.

I have one since preorded. About autofocus It's already fixed , don't worry , also they updated camera same as note 20 ultra (8k promode , mic , etc)
