Some last longer than others in wandering the darkness, or staying connected to this world or forming a version of hell for themselves, but they can't do it forever. Our souls ultimately are a homing beacon to bring us back to Him. (Knowledge given to me in my NDE)

Amen, I saw this just as I was meditating on how Christ, being God chose to come as a plain man & surrendered the fullness of his divinity trusting the father to guide & deliver hhim from the flesh, temptations, death. He surrendered to even death on the cross & trusted God to get through every blow, & resurrection.
