Tesla Windshield Fluid Problems

- When we rented a Tesla from Hertz we had some Tesla windshield fluid problems. We had fluid in the reservoir but nothing was coming out the wipers. In this video I show what I found and how I fixed it. You're welcome Hertz!

This video saved me time and money, I was getting ready to have my 2022 Model Y serviced due to the windshield fluid reservoir leaking. I assumed it was damaged. After watching your video, I went out and fixed it in less than 2 min. The hose was just disconnected. Thank you

No problem. It is an easy fix if you know where to look!
I saw the fluid dumping in the front.. That was exactly the problem I had on the Model Y. The pressure was enough this pushed the tube out of the fitting. It is funny servicing this car because it is so simplistic;there is only one set of tubes for this.

Had the same problem after the windshield vipers were replaced by the company who replaced my windscreen.
They must have forgotten to reconnect the tubes 😮

Thank you...Just had a Tesla shop replace a windshield and they forgot to put these back on. We all make mistakes...but come on man. Thank you for this - I was able to fix on my own.

Tesla recently replaced my windshield. When I got it back I had this issue. Thank you! They had disconnected it to get the wipers out of the way and they'd neglected to put it back. Easy fix if Middle Aged Tesla tells you how! :)

Thanks for sharing! I have an issue with the fact that the fluid is tinted. When you wash the windshield the fluid also goes onto the car and leaves streaks in whichever color the fluid is tinted. In my case, the fluid is blue. So my white Model Y has lovely blue streaks when I use the windshield washer... UGH.

Mine stopped working suddenly. I don’t even hear the motor anymore. I checked connections and fluid and all is good. Any suggestions?

Lmao filled up 3 liters of fluid and now I have 0 liters in my tank and a garage filled with fluid on the floor. Let’s see if this is the issue
