Siss came here cause i’ve been working in a nail salon for the past few months and it’s been a bit stressful due to some client complaints!! Your videos always comfort me! ❤️
Just quit today. Every day it boss degraded me on how I’m not a professional, people think I’m not a nail technician, they don’t like my massage, “can you satisfy a customer?” , I’m slow. I made two women cry, a few people walk out. I just couldn’t anymore with a person who didn’t understand that I went to school to learn to be a nail tech. Before school I didn’t even paint my own nails. During school we’re learning sanitation until the very end we’re practicing on a fake hand mainly because real customers are rare and not evenly spread out. Now idk what to do. It’s hard not to be discouraged.
Don't be discouraged! It takes time to find a shop that works. I went through SEVERAL before finding the place I ended up staying at for almost 10 years and started my career there. That place just wasn't for you. Stay positive 😊
Why do slow salons hire alot of nail techs? Then the tech comes gets set up and leaves a couple weeks later. Because it's so slow and the money is not there.
@@TheNailTeach I'm realizing that now my first week hardly no one was coming into the shop then the second week we were slammed we had to turn roughly 10 people away just in one day there was a client in my chair from open to an hour after closing that day.

Did you see my response in the chat?
Off topic but it’s a question. A true pink for baby boomers... can you tell me a brand and color so that I don’t keep guessing and wasting money.❤
I LOOOOVE Valentino's Prettiest Pink & Perfect Nude as a base for my frenchies and ombré nails!
@@TheNailTeach Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

Because it’s not always slow. It’s usually slow during winter but summer is the busiest season
@@naildbyj7527 awh ok ok cool thanks.
They also want to make sure they are fully staffed. Techs use shops to gain their clients and leave so owners want to always be prepared for that
