- #Dynaudio #Evoke30 #FloorstandingSpeakers Blonde. The Evoke 30 are for serious HiFi Enthusiasts unboxed, unboxing, hands on, first look... www.listeningpost.co.nz/Produ...
The Evoke 30 are the smaller version in the Evoke Floortsanding speaker range. But don't be mistaken, "small" is not a word that fits with the Evoke 30. The 30's come with 2 MSP woofers and you still get the 28mm Cerotar with Hexis tweeter. Come in and see us to find out about the all new 200W Evoke 30 speakers.
The Evoke series speakers from Dynaudio are designed to bring the latest advancements in audio technology without having to spend a fortune. We know that Dynaudio are world leaders in making no compromise High Fidelity speakers like the Evidence series but with a price tag exceeding 6 figures, they are something most of us can only dream of. The Evoke series brings the technology and materials used in Dynaudio's high end products in a smaller cabinet but at an amazing price.
Features....
A brand new Cerotar tweeter
A totally new driver based from the tweeters from the award winning Special Forty speaker and the Confidence series speakers. The tweeter is composed of a 28mm precision coated soft-dome diaphragm, which lets the tweeters frequency exceed 20,000 Hz without distortion.
All new Hexis tweeter dome
Underneath the soft dome of the Cerotar tweeter sits the Hexis inner dome. A piece of tech thatʻs only found in the Confidence series. It replaces the usual ring that is used to fill the cavity behind the playing surface resulting in optimised airflow. What you get is even better frequency response out of your tweeter.
New Esotec+ woofer
The woofers in the Evoke range have diaphragms made from Magnesium Silicate Polymer (MSP for short). A material that was developed and refined by Dynaudio for 40 years to provide the exact right mix of lightness, stiffness and damping.
High-grade Dynaudio topology with select components
Not all woofers are made to sound the same so it makes no sense to have a single material. The Evoke series used a combination of lightweight aluminium and copper voice-coils for its woofers. Which one depends on what the drivers used for. The smaller cabinets use aluminium for its lighter weight and the big floorstanders use copper for more moving mass.
Timeless, honest and beautiful
The Evoke series lead designer Louise Dalgaard was adamant that the whole range would be realistic for real home and real lives. Through prototypes on paper and clay, simulations and extensive research, the final design was one that is simultaneously modern, retro and timeless. See the design in four beautiful finishes. Black High Gloss, White High Gloss, Walnut Wood and Blonde Wood.

Very detailed unboxing with great pictures, thank u !
Thank you Ron
The unboxings you do on your channel are great. Keep doing it! Best regards from Poland!
Thank you Grzegorz
these speakers are phenomenal...you need a good and high current/ high wattage amp...you won't be disappointed...I love the balanced clarity in the whole frequency spectrum and could happily live with these speakers for the next twenty years, without the nagging feeling of some kind of audiophile-fomo...great speakers and aestheticly: nothing out there has this WAF!
Thats a beautiful finish!
Yes - it is stunning
Bought the piano black Evoke 30 together with the Naim Uniti Nova and will add My REL Carbon Limited sub. Listened to the speakers today and they perform impressive with the right amplifier. Tested it with the Naim Atom and it played really good, but really came to life with the bigger brother Uniti Nova! And blending in a good sub will really rise the soundstage to a significant higher level! As I said before, great video! Actually the first and only review/unboxing video in english right now!
Great. Enjoy
Very good unboxing video!
Is it plastic feet? Does the speaker stand steady? Is the ”feet” made of plastic? And is it aluminium rings around the elements and tweeter?
Cheers from Sweden
The feet are a ridged, resonance free polycarbonate. So, yes, I guess plastic, but not basic cheap plastic.
JANGO FETT there is plastic and there is plastic. Some plastic can withstand high temperatures and have the tensile strength of steel. I’m sure Dynaudio is using quality plastic.
you think the Anthem MCA 225 power amp will be good match for the Evoke 30? or the Anthem MCA will be too powerful for the Evoke 30? Thanks.
Hi BlackSpider. All speakers LOVE more power and the Evokes are no different. The 225 will be a good match
Thanks for the video :) Gr8 stuff!
How do these compare to Emit M30 and Excite X34? If anyone has auditioned these, would be really helpful. Not sure if it'll make sense upgrading from Emit M30 and Excite X34 (I've had and compared both and surprisingly I preferred the M30) to Evoke 30 without auditioning these.
The new Evoke speaker range is superb, and the mid range clarity plus the top end detail is astonishing. So the Evoke 30's would be my pick. However, all three speakers are slightly different in their bass performance (mainly due to their bass driver and cabinet size)....so if you need the speakers to do deep and loud, stick with the Emite M30's if you need an overall lift in performance, go with the Evoke's.
@@TLPCHC Thank you! Will try my best to listen to the evoke once they arrive at dealerships here and then decide though it might take until Nov or Dec. Was trying to buy a pair blindly from a distributor once its a available in Sept. Appreciate your response :)
@@TLPCHC I have emit30 dont like the base, not impressive. Yes very clear but not a huge sound stage. Are these very similar
@Jack Ryder The Emite M30 are lovely and dynamic. If you don't like the bass, it is likely you need to look at the amplifier driving the speakers (and maybe their placement in the room).
@@jackryder6732 im curious to know about this as well. If the evolve 30 can't better the M30 in the bass department its no good for me. I love the Emit M30, its got decent to good levels of bass for my liking. I have the back of the speaker at about 30cm from the back wall (30 to 50cm works well for me) & I pair them with Marantz PM8005 & Primare i35 in circles every few weeks. Call it stupidity or whatever for us audio aficionados to be looking for the next best thing all the time cause there's no end to this. Believe it or not, i think it was spike shoes I bought recently which are bigger, heavier and wider than the ones I used previously. The new shoes have a bigger surface area & a rubber layer at bottom....this seems to have helped improve the bass response to a noticeable extent & maybe the overall sound coming from the speakers. Its helped tighten the bass & add a bit more punch to the low end at least. I think its cause it gives the towers better stability and have made the towers less wobbly than ever before. When I tried to gently press the top part of the cabinet and check for side to side movements, the towers are indeed somewhat more stable now than they were on the smaller spike shoes (which had no rubber layer underneath as well) I used earlier. Sounds like BS I know but thats what I discovered. If you realised, the speakers are not really so stable cause the spikes are not too far apart like in the excites & evolve and this point was highlighted by quite a few reviewers.
Hi i cant deside between evoke 30 with nad c399 and special forty 40 with eci 80d both same price. My room is 5,5m and 3,5m where i got tv, 17 square meters, i will use them on netflix tv rock music and tidal app. Thanks for helping
What style of music do you listen to most? And and what volume?
@@TLPCHC i like more volume and most depeche mode and rock music. I was hearing both of speakers but still cant deside...thats why i tryed to ask you...i was in studio. thanks for reply
Would a Hegel H120 be able to power these speakers well?
Yes - Probably
Hegel is a perfetc match for Dynaudio! You can't go wrong!
That's a beautiful color. So tired of either black or white choices.
Yes - It is lovely to see COLOUR. The DynAudio Special 40's were availabel in RED (which was superb)
They sell $5000, its quite high priced, isn't it. Is it worth the price
Yes. I realy think they are worth every cent.
@@TLPCHC thank you, with that said will do a demo in Toronto
I heard them, yes blown away. One would need a good amp
Just a comment for presentation, please don't throw packaging and parts away ' by trying to be populair or relaxed'. Just think about ' plastic' garbage in general, in showing behavior like this your audience grab hold to the idea that carefully garbage handeling and recycling is just not important or impopulair. I'm almost sure you don't do this intentional, but your an example for others too. Kind regards, P from Europe, Netherlands
Thanks for your feedback P G. Come and see the recycling and re-use systems we have implemented in store some time. I think we are the only HiFi company with an enviormental statement: www.listeningpost.co.nz/About-Us/About-Listening-Post-Christchurch-Wellington-__I.42123__N.43742
