Once he has the IP address, he'll need to have an IT firm locate who owned the IP at a particular time and then he'll need to subpoena the ISP. The ISP may refuse to disclose these details.
At that point, he then needs to file his defamation law suit and actually fight it. He has nothing to fight here. He doesn't have the money to fight this.

Avi Yemini is following the instruction of his funding boss, Ezra Levant from Rebel Media, basically: sue to generate interest in your case, just so that you can get more attention, grow your channel, raise funds via gofundme etc. In Canada they stopped this with the anti-SLAPP laws, Australian states have tightened laws in defamation, but what he will do is stop proceeding with the case, once the defendant has been unmasked, that way he doesn't have to proceed any further and risk any liability.
None of these grifters have to risk any liability given the propensity of the mentally-munted masses to shell-out for sell-outs.

The threat to national security is a more opaque claim but when considered that his beliefs and actions which are based in pseudo science and the misunderstanding of facts and data it is also apt that his conspiratorial views are a threat to national security. He would in effect be arguing for all conspiracies to be taken seriously against national and international policy.

Exactly, he’s charged with assault against his ex wife and plead guilty and had a conviction recorded. So it’ll be hard to prove someone shining light back on that being defamatory and untrue.
I don't know if it has been confirmed but I think the tweets that are alleged to be defamatory say that Avi is a national security threat or a domestic terror threat or something to that effect. I don't think even Avi expects to seriously win a defamation case on these grounds, but the court decided it was valid enough to warrant a case being brought an examined in full which would require the unmasking of PRGuy.

In terms of production technique, I'd like to congratulate Avi on achieving the maximum possible level of 'cringe'. I won't say that the demeanor and choice of words from the persons he spoke to suggested they were preselected if not directed as to what they should say, but I will say that absolutely without a doubt, those people were absolutely super definitely, for sure, chosen at random, and it just so happened that they awkwardly unanimously agreed with everything said by Avi. I think a lot of the work Avi did exposing Victorian police brutality and law breaking during the height of the pandemic was great. I never saw anything like it on other news platforms. Sure it was heavily dosed in conspiracy theories but at the end of the day, he presented video evidence of Australian police acting like Nazis. And it was disturbing footage that Australians needed to see and understand because what he showed does not fit the idea many Australians would hold of our country and its police force. His interactions with the police happened at the same time as yours, though for different reasons, yet for both assaults, what we saw was heavy handed police incriminating innocent people to suit someone’s agenda and not the law.
