    Dallas should have challenged the goal.
    About 2 seconds before the goal Howden's skate makes contact with the goalie's left skate which knocked him off balance and led to the goal.
    It's a try.

    • @enriqueleon1169
      @enriqueleon1169 Год назад

      contact is at 00:07, the goal 3 seconds later.

    • @c.d.6509
      @c.d.6509 Год назад

      No. The contact was not in the blue paint. Howden is entitled to that ice.

    • @enriqueleon1169
      @enriqueleon1169 Год назад +1

      @@c.d.6509 The contact (left skate of Howden into left skate of Oetinger) was right at the edge of the blue paint, and the goalie lost his balance. The goal happened literally 1.5 seconds later as the goalie was unable to pivot and cover the opening.
      Considering the Florida goal recalled early in the OT of game 1, some people would argue the contact led directly to the goal.
      No doubt the goal was reviewed but if Dallas is not protesting then of course it's good. Some goals have been called back for less,

    the only people who aren't happy with this result is the media, the refs ( overtime is a 50/50 chance cause there are no penalties, or they even out ) and the other stars fans.

      Skjei and Fast 2 former Rangers playing a winning brand of post season Hockey. They let Fast walk because they don't value 4th liners properly and Skjei was traded for a 1st rounder which was then traded with a 3rd rounder for the Braden Schneider pick who will probably languish on the 3rd pair behind Trouba for 3 more years. Anthony Duclair playing well for Florida with 8 pts in 12 games. The Ranger way.

    They should ban goals from the back of the goalie haha. It's an automatic goal firing the puck at the back of a goalie it will just bounce back into goal line whether he sees it or not, won't have time to stop.

    • @Bhutchin09
      @Bhutchin09 Год назад +8

      He should be in position so that can’t happen. If it does then it’s on the goalie. The last thing the league is going to do is limit scoring more. If anything they would do the opposite.
