They scored the first goal of the series in rounds 1 2 and the finals which they had home ice advantage in each of those series and they won game one in the three series
Game 1 vs LA 1-0 victory
Game 1 vs SJ 7-0 victory
Game 1 vs WPG 4-2 loss
Game 1 vs WSH 6-4 victory
Each game 1 they won was when they had home ice advantage
I’m glad ovi finally got his cup but I wish Vegas went all the way and won that year

Yea total fluke. Went to the final in their first year, made playoffs every year for the next 5 years except once, played in 3 conference finals , and now won the Stanley cup in their 6 year. Lol. No clue what you’re talking about
This was probably the worst thing to happen to this team though. Having them go to the scf in there first year just caused them to build this cocky fan base that thinks anything less than a cup is a complete failure and a overconfident team that chokes against teams like Montreal and Dallas.
