Me and my family went a couple years ago. We’re doing it again with my grandparents so I’m back to chose our next route!

I am planning to walk the Camino Ingles next year, and I appreciate your covering all the routes in this video and I found it very helpful. It has convinced me that my feelings were correct about my choice. Thanks for all you do.

Great to hear you are heading out on the Camino Ingles, it is a lovely route and one far less travelled. Enjoy every step. Buen Camino.

Excellent information! Will definitely consider some of the options other than the French way. Thanks for the information!

Hi Jorge, Thanks for the positive comments. The French Way is amazing, but everyone has their favourites. If you ever need any more info on any of the routes, give us a shout and any of our experts would love to answer your questions.

Is there a route starting from far eastern Spain near Barcelona? What is the terrain?

Hi Donna, there are various routes, but I haven't done them myself so I can't tell you about terrain other than it will be walking through countryside, up and down hills and through towns and villages - pretty much like most other Caminos.
There are a couple of excellent websites for route information, the Gronze site is the most updated and easy to navigate, although it's in Spanish.
      www.gronze.com/camino-santiago-barcelona
The route out of Barcelona city goes on to join the Camino Catalán, but there are several "GR" paths that are signposted that can make it a bit confusing. You'll probably need a map/guide book or equivalent phone app and ask questions at junctions if you're not entirely sure. There are also routes that start North or South of Barcelona on the coast.
Some routes will take you via Samport to the Camino Francés at Roncesvalles. Others join the Francés at Puente de Reina or other towns.

Vía de la plata = 105 km?!?!?!?

Hi Stoyan. The section of the Via de la Plata that WE sell is only 105km long. Logistically, so far it has only been possible for us to set up bag transfer and accommodation on the final section of the Via de la Plata. However, you are correct, the full route is much longer!

This is so wrong... The Via De La Plata is like 1000 KM long!

Hi Yoav, The Via De La Plata is indeed 800km long, however we were only highlighting the section that we sell here at Macs Adventure. The rest of it we would love to be able to sell, but the logistics of providing accommodation and luggage transfer for the full route has so far eluded us. Perhaps in the future!
