An absolute nightmare.. it would be easier and quicker to remove the engine.. Who or what spark designed this... ? mine were so rusted I could not get the caps off the bush..

I was thinking about this job on the wife's astra J as it as a terrible knock over bumps but good lord that rear 13mm bolt looks like a nightmare and I don't have an impact or hindged ratchet.

Hi! Short but good video. Did you use any glue during the mounting prosess? The vertical links were in place the whole time?

I also had a knocking. I was told it was the drop links. Replaced those, but still knocking.
Another video said you have to drop the subframe to access the rear bolt on the anti roll bar bracket.
    Err, no chance.
I solved mine with 3 woodscrews screwed in between the bush and the bracket and a lathering of grease. No more knocking.

Nip the tops of the screws off with a dremel cutting wheel and put lots of black grease on. MOT guys won't see it. It's not structural, so to me its not an issue. All you are doing is squeezing the rubber bush tighter around the anti roll bar to prevent it from rattling.@@Haydzx-tn3gy

Sorry no i dont. Use 4 or 5 inch woodscrews. It makes it easier to get them screwed in. Then cut them off with a dremel. You are simply putting the screws between the saddle bracket and the rubber. Thereby tightening the rubber onto the roll bar. Then put some grease on. No more knocking. I did mine over a year ago. As long as there is grease the rubber won't wear out again.@@Haydzx-tn3gy
