actually, they won best new artist for this number in 2012 and have been a mainstay since then... There is a subgroup called Spica S with 4 of the girls ..... they just recently dropped another lp comeback this year
I love Kim Taeyeon IMO they should have been promoted as singers instead of an idol group with the singing capability that they have (ex. davichi). all of them are good.
Guys, though I don't speak Korean but when listening to this song, I feel like it's reminding us that we are still young, to live our lives enthusiastically and that there are still a whole lot of opportunities out there in real life so don't waste our time standing idly or whining about failure. @@박복자-q4w 후려친게아니라.. 그당시에는 대부분 노래가 '사랑얘기'에 한정됐었고 후크송 위주였어요. 물론 그때문에 오히려 더 개성있는 곡들도 많았지만, 스피카가 인기없었던 이유는 개성이 너무 있어서라는 겁니다. 당시에 떴던 아이돌들 보면 하나같이 인형같거나 섹시컨셉 둘 중 하나였죠. 그게 나쁘다는 것도 아니고요. 그당시에는 스피카와 분위기가 많이 안맞았어요. 소녀시대나 원더걸스 보면 노래 낼 때마다 멤버들이 개성이 있는 듯하면서도 한가지 컨셉으로 맞춰서 갔는데, 스피카는 앨범낸거보면 하나로 맞춘다기보다 각자의 개성이 너무 튀고 각자 능력이 출중하다보니까 솔직히 그룹보다는 솔로로 햇으면 성공했겠다 싶은? 그런 느낌이었습니다.

I never really pay attention to rookie girl groups. I knew about Spica but never bothered to listen. Until I was watching EYK and they were talking about You Don't Love Me. So I watched. And now I'm in the long process of trying to remember which members are which xD Spica is an amazing girl group. I see them going pretty far in K-Pop. They're all gorgeous and their voices are to die for. What more could the K-Pop industry ask for?

before Mamamoo when Spica existed they were considered probably the top vocal GG even. Even their "weak" vocal member - Jiwon got a super boot on UniT proving just how strong vocally they were.

I'm sorry but I wish this was their English single because it sounds more westernized even the mv looks like something you would see in America. I can picture this song being played on the radio and in clubs...but it's okay their other song was okay too. I hope this has an English version someday.

The official last statement from them is that they disbanded but the could be back in the future. With JiWon gaining fame in The Unit I don't think is impossible. Also, I want them to be successful as individuals. I said Spica cause that's the name of the group. But, if they continue as a group or not, I want all of them to be really famous :)
They have amazing vocals maybe ok dancing but seriously it seems to be all about doing something people would really find catchy. In kpop everybody is talented so you gotta come up with something fresh. There is also very little promotion for these girls and that's sad since they sing well.

I never really pay attention to rookie girl groups. I knew about Spica but never bothered to listen. Until I was watching EYK and they were talking about You Don't Love Me. So I watched. And now I'm in the long process of trying to remember which members are which xD Spica is an amazing girl group. I see them going pretty far in K-Pop. They're all gorgeous and their voices are to die for. What more could the K-Pop industry ask for?
I feel so lucky to have known them when they were still together. They were probably one of the best vocalist groups in Kpop ever and rewatching this video made me so so so so so happy. If only they were together right now. *sigh*
I got into K-pop the year after SPICA and was so sad to have missed seeing them perform.

before Mamamoo when Spica existed they were considered probably the top vocal GG even. Even their "weak" vocal member - Jiwon got a super boot on UniT proving just how strong vocally they were.

They have amazing vocals maybe ok dancing but seriously it seems to be all about doing something people would really find catchy. In kpop everybody is talented so you gotta come up with something fresh. There is also very little promotion for these girls and that's sad since they sing well.

Ephraim Gonzales you can count SISTAr in....but in the case of Crayon Pop, their only song that gets them to popularity is Bar Bar Bar but their next two comebacks aren't of the people's liking.....
