- The Stay At Home Choir presents 'Rimanti in pace' by Claudio Monteverdi, performed with British vocal ensemble, I Fagiolini. Founded and directed by Robert Hollingworth, I Fagiolini are internationally renowned for their imaginative, innovative performances of early music.
Our global choir took part in the 'Rimanti in pace' project over 3 weeks in July 2021. This final video is the culmination of online rehearsals, masterclasses, and global socials led by Robert Hollingworth and I Fagiolini, choirmaster Graham Bier, Italian language coach Matteo Dalle Fratte, and Stay At Home Choir co-founders Tori Longdon and Jamie Wright. It combines nearly 1000 recordings submitted by Stay At Home Choir members to create an unusual, epic approach to a madrigal which is usually sung one to a part.

Remain in Peace. Fitting words for the world today. Let's hope people are listening. Thank you for a lovely project.
Remain in Peace has to be the best ever song to release on this day. Such a privilege as always to take part and learn from the best in class.
Beautiful music and message to release today, 24th February 2022. Thank you to all who made this.
What an excellent day for this premiere. Remain in peace.
A brilliant light on a dark day.
What a beautiful, ethereal piece this madrigal is. Singing it was returning to my musical home, and this production is pure loveliness. Thank you SAHC & I Fagiolini! 💙🌟🎵
Love it! I'm glad I submitted this one, though I can't remember whether it was video or audio only 😄. What a beautiful sound 🎶. It was definitely worth the wait. I'm so glad SAHC took us on this journey. It was certainly something different for me and I'm loving the opportunity to try so many varied styles of music. Well done to everyone who took part - and the SAHC team who taught us and put it all together, including Jamie, Tori, Graham and Matteo, plus the admin and technical wizards 👏. Huge thanks to Robert Hollingworth and I Fagiolini - I hope they like the end product ♥.
