    I remember reading a book years ago by Ruth Hiedrich and she was a triathlete and vegan and raw vegan. A long time ago she got in a few accidents on her bike and recovered fast she said the reason a lot of runners get problems with knees because of cooked proteins that accumulate in the body and create problems.
