I love INXS, but Michael Hutchence was no innocent party. I believe MH initiated it in an interview, and there was some back and forth between MH and the Gallaghers.
I believe that the animosity from Liam stemmed from a picture in the papers that showed Patsy Kensit talking with Hutchence. IIRC the papers had photo shopped the pic so it looked like she had her hand down his pants (you can Google it). Noel has said that the organisers of the Brits knew that they didn't like Hutchence and that Oasis felt like they'd purposely had Hutchence present the award to create some controversy.

Their first album had that garage band feel that I enjoy quite a bit. Second is more produced and has that bigger band feel that is just as great but a bit different.

As a musician, definitely react to live performances. These guys were on 🔥 in the early/mid 90’s. Not many bands fused jazz chords, funk bass lines, swinging drums, horn section, a dj and master didgeridoo player. The bassist was a mere teenager at the time ruclips.net/video/HrESflF-4Zg/видео.html

Why would you read to a band you are already predisposed to hate lol. Anyways I love Oasis and I believe they were amazing and inspired a lot of people including me. Nowadays everyone is so easily offended for any little thing when it was just not that serious. I wish I were back in the 90's tbh

Interesting that they 'buried' their drummer in this video. As they replaced that very band member with a new drummer for their next album onwards, as Noel Gallagher wanted someone with more technical skills.

this used to be my favorite Oasis song but now it sounds meh 🫤. Champagne Supernova is now #1 i guess
They loved Bob geldof, as we all did and didn’t appreciate Michael blatantly stealing his wife, I’d imagine that had a lot to do with it, I watched it live and thought it rude but later on understood it🇬🇧👍be lucky

Oasis put out one good album and they thought they were The Beatles. They are, what we call here in the U.S., WANKERS. Nina, you seem like a really cool person, funny and not bitter. As a life-long musician and band member myself, I hear where you're coming from. Plus, I love your set , it somehow reminds me of an ofrenda. Keep on rockin, sista, I'm listening.
One good album? Which one are you referring to? It's common that people only know What's The Story Morning Glory, but I find Definitely Maybe equally as good. They also have a lot of great music off their other albums.
Lastly, as for the Beatles, didn't John Lennon say that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus. I think you can see the joke that Oasis was making.
