Engine covers. Mankinds stupidest invention. Lets put a large piece of heat insulating plastic on top of our engine...yeah, hard pass. I do the same, and if they go back on for a sale, they look brand new. No, not all youR bad PCV valves have still rattled when shaken, your problem is your changing good PCV VALVES. Im going to assume you changed them because there was some oil/grease accumulation at the base of the valve. . This is not indicative of a bad valve.

Without going and popping the hood to see what you are asking about I bet you are looking at the front diff/axle breather

I believe this truck has one per valve cover so two
Will a bad pcv valve cause a hesitation when accelerating and limit my truck to 3k rpms?
Hopefully somebody can help you out!
What is that hose with the little filter to your right
Not sure what point you are referencing...but I'm going to guess you are looking at my front diff breather
Does A Bad PVC cause white smoke exhaust during start up?
I would guess you are looking at a different problem...but I am also not a mechanic by any means.
Love the quick and easy video. Just curious did you have any smoke or mild smoke out the tail pipe before replacing?
Thanks! Nope, I did not
I am trying to find a set of these 2nd gen wheels for under $500 all in. Main those wheels really set this truck off.
