Glad to see you're enjoying her john! Really a fun one...been doing a lot of bush flying with mine in the yard. Played around in the wind and with flaps down actually got a vertical, no forward movement landing! I'm liking your blue spinner. The fact that yours creeps around on the ground all by itself not so much. Freaking me out. Lol.
Hey thanks Adam!! Yessir, I've always liked the Timber lineup and this one is no exception. I'm not surprised to hear you got a helicopter landing in; the caliber of pilot you are coupled with an extremely capable aircraft makes for some fun times for sure!! I'm glad you like the blue spinner; it makes it "pop" for sure! And yes, there was just enough wind to give the plane a mind of it's own! Looking forward to burning more batteries through this one, having a blast getting her dialed in!
I experienced the same type of crash with my big Timber X. I had probably 30 flights on it with no issues. One day I was just cruising around and suddenly had no control which resulted in that death spiral. The Timber X is a pretty heavy 4S plane and it suffered lots of damage in the crash. A fellow RC pilot told me it could have been some sort of radio interference. Who knows...maybe sun spots. LOL Anyway, ordering a UMX TT Evo today.
Do you think I can bind this with my Gen 1 dx8?? Deciding factor I'd I get this or a 😢 rtf aeroscout which is bigger but no flaps.. it does have a newer simpler spektrum controller.
Oh wow, I have no idea. I don't see why not, I mean, dx8 is Spektrum protocol. It should. I'd check the product page and look at or download the manual. I'm sure it'll say in there...
@@8poundquark Thanks brother, I really enjoy that flying site as well! The Mobius is an ANCIENT ActionCam from around 2012-2013. I honestly can't remember when I bought it, but MAN was that a good purchase! She's still in action after all these years!
Nice flight today my friend. Good to see her back up and doing awesome!!
Thanks Ken, good to hear you enjoyed the trip to the dry lake!!
I have one! It’s so fun. I love it. It flys in any wind and it’s so precise.
Absolutely! This one is a winner for sure!
