I love my sausage gravy and biscuits, especially at deer camp, but this is something new!!! This might be something I will want to try, but don't know about putting the brown sugar in it. The ramps and the mushrooms sound good to me. I bet morel mushrooms would be good in that as well. The mushrooms you picked I have never found them, maybe because I don't know my mushrooms that well, other than the morel mushrooms and chicken of the woods. Looks good never had sausage and biscuits or ramps but then again I'm on the NorthEast Coast more Italian Dishes than anything but I'd try it for sure.
I like these cooking videos Kevin, In The Kitchen At The Rusty Rooster, there is no such thing as too much pepper in sausage gravy, i`m skipping the brown sugar though. When I make mine, I use Jimmy Deans Hot sausage, I never tried mushrooms, I will the next time. You better get Julie`s stove cleaned up, teehee.

Get your mushrooms and ramps and dehydrate them and keep them for deer season.

Thanks William, that is a Rada knife and they are really good ones , you can also buy them in big sets , look them up when you can .
