A small correction: The Inteyvat flower was most likely placed by Halfdan(as seen in his cutscene) and not the abyss sibling. So Halfdan may have been carrying it for 500 years with him instead of "the abyss sibling visiting Khaenri'ah" scenario that I mentioned.

8:13 i disagree with your theory.
halfdan dies after being hit by the yellow light, BUT his soul went back to his original human form, he also remembers dains and khaenriah, meaning he is PURIFIED of his curse and erosion, his memory returns.
meaning the yellow light actually remove the curse and erosion, returning one's soul to its original form.
what if this is what lumine true purpose? not returning them physically like we initially thought.
or maybe she do want to return them physically, but she needs to know if she can return their soul/memory first, and this is the device for. after all a body without it's soul and memory is an empty shell.
another weird thing is the words "revival of homeland", not restoration or rebuilding. normally you would say "rebuilding of homeland" but mihoyo decided to pick the word revival. to me revival means to return to the exact same state as before with no difference.

Likely to control and keep them from getting powerful enough to overthrow them as they succumb to Dementia.

Fantastic analysis, as always. 16:12 I believe the reason the Abyss Herald wasn't affected was because he wasn't actually from Khaenri'ah. The Abyss Order recruits outsiders from time to time. Tyvat is placed in the Inner side of a sphere. The sky is the center of the sphere, with all conestaltions, virtual gravity, and fake stuff.
It also fit how it's said PO created human realm, and fit it between light realm and abyss realm.
And since the planet is hollow from inside (the fake sky), it mean it doesn't have concentrated mass in it's center to be rotating around itself. So the planet doesn't have day and night cycles. Meaning it either have one half facing the real sun (light realm) and one half is utterly dark (abyss). Or there's no real sun, and only have the elements in light realm firming "light". Either scenarios have half if the planet dark, which is the Abyss.
Now they say Enkanomyia lies in the middle of the three realms, which is reasonable as well. It fell from the fake sky under the sea. So it actually went one layer outside the inner human world. But it still didn't get to the most outer layer (light realm and abyss real), so it's between all three.

Well, let's remember that Venti said in his introduction that he and the Traveler had once met and traveled together... It's just that the Traveler doesn't remember 😊
Maybe that's how Lumine got the flower. Tho, I wonder on the side of Aether, what accessory he has that is in connection to Kahenri'ah
edit: which reminds me the theory about Traveler sleeping the entire time is a bit skeptical because of what Venti said. Maybe Traveler's memories got manipulated after Sustainer captured them... or maybe its a situation similar to Ei planting the Sakura tree, who knows.
update: sorry for taking so long 😅 but apparently there isn't anything on Aether that is from Khaenri'ah. Well, he hasn't mentioned anything of Khaenri'ah item on him, only that he recognized the flower on the ground as something the Abyss Princess wore on her hair.

The power in The Chasm doesn't actually suppress their curse of immortality, but instead it drains the life forces of people in Teyvat, which explains why they have a strong desire to stay in The Chasm, not because it's suppressing their curse, but making them finally die (which is making them feel a great relief from living for hundreds of years). That probably explains why Traveler is able to go inside without harm as well since Traveler isn't from this world.

Lumine doesn't say that she doesn't remember, only that she had it when she "woke up." This wake up could very well just be after the 500 year nap and shortly before the game starts, but that would be the most boring explanation.
While prior to this point, the twins have been completely interchangeable barring maybe slight differences in tone and expression, this quest probably has the biggest difference so far in the story between playing as Aether or Lumine, and it's the freaking flower in Lumine's hair! Aether has no equivalent on his design, but that flower still somehow ended up being plot relevant, so the two twins had to have very different things to say about it, leading to Lumine adding a little more detail that could call the backstory into question.

The fact that the ruins are actually made during Primordial one’s time makes me curious by what other civilisation lived during their time, maybe it’s the Seelie race considering the game mentions how it was an ancient race that existed long ago.I also realised one commonality between Tsurumi,Enkonomiya and the Seelies, each of them have ghosts/shadows that exist without a clear identification. This might be because they lack someone who can remember them which makes them look more ghastly then humanly or/and they might have suffered from erosion at some point. When it came to some quests like Ei’s Story Quest, the ghosts had identities that made them look like how they were during that time which means Celestia may have connected the dots of which civilisations didn’t worship the Seven Archons and decided to lay a curse on each of them to suffer from erosion so that no one would remember who they were. The only ones who didn’t suffer from erosion are Orobashi and Lisa because they’re still remembered by others. However Lisa is still living which means she might be eroding slower.
Also another interesting case is that Celestia doesn’t know how to fully control the 7 elements, during the Archon Quest Dain mentioned how the Abyss Order is doing something with the Natural Order. The Traveller can use all Seven elements without a vision which might indicate that they share some similar technology to the Primordial One or Khaenriah.I have a feeling that they’ll be the new god of the nation and will dethrone Celestia because they’re able to control all the elements and that Dain mentions in the Teyvat trailer that they will soon get a throne when they’ve finished their journey in teyvat.
Lastly I’ve realised that during Enkonomiya and The Chasm’s quest, there were no vision bearers who investigated the ancient ruins.Only the Traveller can enter them as if it was meant for them to come in the first place, unless they can be investigated because the ruins lack the book of forbidden knowledge(the one Orobashi and Lisa read).A vision is like an eye from Celestia to see how humans live,so if anyone with a vision were to find out about Khaenriah and other civilisations they’d suffer from the wrath of the gods.Even during Enkonomiya, one shade said that the Traveller should never speak about the trials to anyone, this indicates that it’s for protection purposes and avoiding Celestia from shushing anyone who contains any knowledge connected the ancients

I don't think the Seelies are there before the Primordial One came. The Primordial One is named this way because it was known as the first to come to Teyvat. It was said that before them, before humans existed in Teyvat, only dragons can be found. The Primordial One, after having defeated the dragons, have created one unified civilisation. If this civilisation was as old as the one found in the Chasm, which coincidentally contains the same structures as Enkonomiya, then it meant that the Archon system has yet existed. It would then be odd for them to curse the civilisation they created in their own hands. If there were any changes, it only happened when for the first time, Celestia at the time was encountering an invasion. If there were any power that would be strong enough to throw an invasion against the Primordial One, it would mean that they could have similar origins, at least Outlanders. Coincidentally, the Second Outlander that came to Teyvat is also the one who brought chaos after they and the Queen Seelie decided to be unified through mariage. For this reason, some people believe that the Second Outlander is the one who attacks against the Primordial One. Celestia declares that the invaders were chased away. However, what the scribe thinks may be the Primordial One has 180° change in attitude, doing quite the contrary of what they use to do. Moreover, at the time, the Primordial One and three other shades aren't responding. It seemed rather not that the Primordial One is heartless but because Celestia lies. The Primordial One is defeated and replaced by the Second Who Came. It is then more reasonable for the Second One to want to shut anyone from mentioning any records of the Ancient Civilisation. Why destroying the Ancient Civilisation? It can be that the Second Who Came actually has different ideals than the Primordial One. If such changes are noticeable than the people of the Ancient Civilisation can later identify the Second Who Came as an imposter. Moreover, while the Primordial One is never seen again, the shades of the Primordial One still exists, meaning that the Primordial One isn't dead is the shades are able to still live. The shades can very well tell to their people the truth behind the invasion. In the end, it seemed that the shades are forced to cooperate with the Second Who Came as we see that the archons are probably all aware of the existence of these shades. Among them, the free-est of the shades is probably Istaroth, the time shade. It could be because of Istaroth's activeness that could lead the Ancient Civilization to it's doom as the Second Who Came didn't wish for these information to be spread out.
The Primordial One can be called the Original God and the Creator of Teyvat as in the eyes of humans, the Primordial One is the one who created the man kind. The Primordial One can possibly be Paimon. Before the Traveler's story in profile changed, it was stated that the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles was dying while the Creator that hasn't shown it's face for millenia has yet come. It also states that in someway, the Traveler will probably the one who will ascend to this throne. The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles who is unlikely to die as she doesn't seem to suppose to be affected by erosion, cannot live for too long because the Creator isn't there yet. Since the Traveller cones from another world, it is unlikely that they are the Creator. The profile is also about Paimon since it is about discussions between the Traveler and her. Paimon is also the only one who has the potential of being that Creator.

This quest unironically revealed information we hadn't considered and adds to the intrigue (EDIT AT THE END).
On the Abyss and Abyss Order note, consider the following:
This is mere coincidence, but note that the Hillichurls are under the Abyss Order's influence in many surface operations. Including attacks.
A curious decision as they are sending their own people to their deaths when you can consider they could send the Husks instead as they are stronger.
They are also more willing to spend their lives for the sake of their own progress.
The Husks on the other hand seem to be more interested in protecting the Hillichurls and even stopping any task the Order will do that affectively harms them.
Note that the Abyss Order Mages all have shields and the Heralds and Lectors rely on shields when they are weaker. The Husks on the other hand gain buffs as they strike shields... I feel that the situation between the Abyss Order and the Knights (Husks) may be a mirror to Celestia and the Archons. Only the Archons are slowly being free of Celestia's grasp as they are losing their Gnoses.
Also... the Abyss Twin traveling before Khaenri'ah's fall and becoming associated with the nation may explain why the Sustainer stopped us. Consider this, Zhongli practically reveals that he can tell we aren't from Teyvat. We should consider the other Archons can too. Maybe the Sustainer could as well, but stopped us because she recognized the Twin as someone from Khaenri'ah, if not associated.
EDIT: I just realised something. For a long time I had a theory that the Traveler was going to Ascend to Godhood at the end of the Story due to the Bio section for them and the fact that there's eight important pieces in Chess yet only seven are being used as Gnoses.
We know the Abyss Order seems to want to bind a God for their needs and they want to revert the curse. We also know that the Twins can command the elements or other powers without a bauble... and in Chess there's a thing called "promotion", where when a Pawn reaches the end of the board, they can become another piece of high value like a Knight or Tower, etc. And the end of the Travaile Trailer indicates that the weaves of fate could be ours to weave one day. I wonder... if this is actually the road we are going to take

Here's Food for thought: In the Cutscene Narrated by Venti at the start of every Month when you first Open the BP Menu, Venti states that: "the Crowned Heir Lost their Memory and came to rule the Kingdom of Darkness", And that "the other Crowned Heir was sent out from the Kingdom of Light to finish their Mission to Find the Genesis Pearl".... So who said that the Twin that Lost their Memory in the Kingdom of Darkness was the Abyss Twin? In Fact All evidence points to the Contrary, that the Traveler is the one that Lost their Memory...
So then, What is the Kingdom of Darkness that Venti Speaks of? And what is the Kingdom of Light? We had all assumed that because the People of Khaenri'ah are now Hilichurls and Members of the ABYSS order, that It must have been the "Kingdom of Darkness"... Yet Halfdan's Spectral outfit is mostly White, and he's a Royal Guard, so it stands to reason that his outfit is the Standard Uniform and Style for Khaenri'ah. And the only reason their colour Scheme is now Black is because of the Curse put upon them by the gods? Doesn't it Seem odd that it would be the Gods that would inflict an entire people with such a DARK Curse?.... Now What if... Khaenri'ah is actually the Kingdom of Light? (Or perhaps Primordial One that this vid Keeps referencing, but that seems less likely) And What if the Twins are actually Khaenri'ahn Royalty? Their Style of Clothing is Much closer to the style of Halfdan and Dainslef than to anyone else we've seen in Teyvat, so it fits. And it would Explain why Lumine wears the National Flower of Khaenri'ah in her hair.
Also the Symbol of Khaenri'ah that shows up on all the Heralds, Lectors and Serpent Knights Might actually be just a Variation on the Symbol that Both Travelers have all over their Design, the "Primogem" symbol that Paimon also has. Both Symbols are Symmetrical Stars, The only Difference is if it's 4 or 8 Points(Well 7 for the Abyss Version, since it's Missing it's Top point as it's Kinda Blended into their Collar for style, But on Halfdan all 8 points are Complete, and the 4 Larger ones are almost identical with the angle of their points to the Primogem Symbol used by the travelers and Paimon). the Similarity of the Two Symbols could also mean something along the lines of "Take the simple Symbol of Prymogems, and add some extra Stuff on it to show how Khaenri'ah Built it's Civilization on top of an older Civilization from which they took their base Symbol"... So the twins Might also be Primordial One Royals. Though For now I'm still more tempted to say they're more likely Khaenri'ahn royalty than something older, Despite their Seeming Immortality and Time Travel powers.

8:14 I don't agree with the interpretation here, I think Dainsleif said what he said so that Halfdan's soul would be at peace, by implying that the cataclysm did not destroy Khaenri'ah as badly as it did.
From the story, I think Dainsleif sees the people of Khaenri'ah and himself as doomed and beyond saving from "mortal" means, because anyone from Khaenri'ah is branded at the level of the fate of the world (whatever that means in the world of Teyvat). Dainsleif does not agree with the Abyss twin's way of saving the people of Khaenri'ah because he knows that it wouldn't work and would only result in their death and suffering, since their physical existence is slowly being replaced by the curse. He also seems to be against the methods used by the Abyss order. One thing I learned from the recent story quest
-Lumine is genuinely the princess or at least the leader of Khaenri'ah at some point before the cataclysm
-Hilichurls are truly Khaenri'ah citizens (not abyss creatures) because we know hilichurls, although primal and primative they do have some basic or decent amount of intelligence.
-Abyss mages, Lectors, Heralds, rifthounds are all creatures of the abyss meaning they have no relation to Lumine and Khaenri'ah at all. in fact they are probably the root on why Khaenri'ah was bombed to begin with.
Also they claim to be citizens of Khaenri'ah but during the purification ritual only the Husk (Khaenri'ah royal guards) and hilichurls (Khaenri'ah citizens) and lastly dainsleifwas the only one who was affected by it. the lector performing the ritual was not affected by it at all. this proves that the abyss order is a third party that enticed and corrupted lumine on going against the heavenly principles of celestia
Gnostic Hymn lore is now starting to make sense. Lumine is the princess of a once glorious kingdom who was corrupted by the abyss and now her sibling is continuing the path she had failed to follow.

Taking into account the amount of Greek mythos/architecture referenced in the story and design of enkanomiya, the abyss and the ancient civilisations in Genshin, it's interesting to note that snakes were heavily associated with rebirth and immortality.
The constellation "Ophiuchs" (which depicts a man wrapped by a snake) is often associated with the Greek mythical figure of Asclepius, son of the god Apollo, who was capable of bringing people back to life with his healing powers. He learned how to do this after witnessing a snake revive another snake with a healing herb. Asclepius took this herb and revived the son of King Minos of Crete after he'd fallen into a jar of honey and drowned. Another myth involved Asclepius being handed the blood of the Gorgon Medusa by the goddess of Athene. The blood from the veins on her left was poison and on the right was said to be able to revive the dead (or bring back life). However, Asclepius was struck down by Zeus because he was worried that the human race would become immortal with Asclepius around to heal them.
I just noticed the parallels between Khanrieh and Celestia with Asclepius and Zeus.
Additionally, "the loom of fate operation" could potentially be a reference to 'The Fates' (or Morai) who are a group of three weaving goddesses who align individual destinies to mortals at birth and they operate 'The Loom of Fate' which is the device they use to weave the fate of the mortals. What if, basing off Dainsleif's dialog on the nature of the curse "It is a way of branding us at the level of the fate of the world itself", the curse isn't necessarily from the power of Celestia but from a device stolen/created that they use.

Wait, let me get this straight.
From another world, the twins reach Khaenri'ah but one of them were asleep. After some major events, the abyss twin woke up the traveler and attempted to escape before the sustainer captured them and returned them back to teyvat, putting both to sleep? So I just need to clarify, did the traveler wake up 500 years after the abyss twin did or did both of them wake up 500 years after the destruction of Khaenri'ah? I mean, if it's the latter, then it would make sense since at the time the traveler visited Mondstadt, it was months after they woke up.

    • @teadora99
      @teadora99 2 года назад +37

I believe what happened was that the twins came to Teyvat and were able to enter with no issues around 500 years ago. When they realised that a war was beginning in Khaenri'ah they decided they should leave, when the Sustainer prevented their exit and sent them both back to Teyvat. The traveler's sibling awoke immediately or soon after what happened with the sustainer and ended up experiencing and living through the cataclysm (destruction of Khaenri'ah). However, the traveler i.e. us, did not awake until 500 years after the sustainer sent us back to Teyvat and so 500 years after the cataclysm. I don't believe that the traveler woke up twice, one of those times being by their twin as otherwise this would have been stated by the traveler in the very beginning. The twins had already been travelling around the universe for likely hundreds of years, there's no reason as to why they would suddenly fall asleep while entering this world. They would have entered Teyvat fine but weren't able to leave when they wanted to and the Sustainer's interference and her power itself is what made the Traveler sleep so long.
Also, I don't believe that just because the abyss sibling is against Dainsleif now, that they were when Khaenri'ah was first destroyed, they easily could have travelled after the cataclysm, and while travelling, the abyss sibling may have learnt something about Dainsleif and decided he was now an enemy to Khaenri'ah, rather than the abyss sibling disliking him immediately after the cataclysm. This makes more sense to me anyway.

    • @TheGameRuler
      @TheGameRuler 2 года назад +16

When the twins arrived, it seems to be indicated that one woke up before the other. This twin found Khaenri'ah pre-calamity.
It's implied that Dainsleif and him were traveling companions during this time as well (which is curious because if this is accurate then he was still captain of the Black Serpent Knights).
When the time came and Celestia and Khaenri'ah wer practically fighting, it seems to be around this time the Traveler wakes up. Also around this time that they decide to leave Teyvat.
This timeline makes sense because Lumine already had the flowers on her head when they were leaving.
This also explains why the Sustainer stopped us: Zhongli practically hints in the first quest with him that he knows we aren't from Teyvat, so we should assume all the Gods know. Meaning the Sustainer had no reason to stop us... unless one of us was recognisable for associating with Khaenri'ah.
Also, thinking about it, for the Captain to be traveling around with the Twin during this time. It could mean that the Twin already may have had some noteworthy presence in Khaenri'ah's social structure.

Yeah, I read the replies and I have to agree that part was so confusing. What we learned from the game beginning was simple. We came with our twin because we travel between worlds. We came upon the world that has Teyvat and Khaenri'ah. For a while things were fine and we stayed, then a war waged. Then we wanted to leave, but were stopped by the Unknown God. Presumably because we've seen too much. Then we got trapped, separated, and woke up to find Paimon while the other twin founded Abyss Order in vengeance for the destruction they saw Celestia made. I understand why this video said one twin woke up first, they're trying to say that Lumine has that flower and said "I have traveled through this world once and you shall see its truth soon" as if we haven't, not because we lost memory of Khaenri'ah, we just never saw it until we sensed our Abyss ruler twin's presence at the Stormterror's Lair. That's saying the other twin woke up from the meteorite first and then came to get us when the war started, but it was too late since the twin saw too much and was a threat to be allowed escape. If not for the Inteyvat, the story would've been much simpler, but it's the theme of the game after all.

And if Hydro is associated with healing, and can even suppress a curse like Dain’s or the hilichurls, maybe the Hydro Archon isn’t being eroded.
Likely the water suppressing the curse might have powers from the 4 shades or has something with leylines in it
Also, where do we draw the line of K’haenriah people and The Abyss? Those Black Serpent enemies are said to be guards of K’haenriah, yet they’re now from the Abyss as said in the archive apparently. Because the abyss existed even before the fall of Khaenriah as a place where all the things that teyvat's world order rejects go. Since The Abyss has been there longer I imagine there are things in it that were there first. They probably joined hands with the left over sentient people of Khaenriah as a deal kind of thing. Even if it were to flow into the surpassingly pure waters of Petrichor, this drop of water will likely resist assimilation as strongly as mercury.''

Unless Teyvat is the inverted one, and the Primordial One civilization is the one that is actually upright as in facing North, the Khaenri'ah is also upside down like Teyvat.

This archon quest made me even more worried that the ending might change depending on which traveller we choose. Because mine is Lumine. Its giving me a lot of misunderstandings since I'm lore geek of Genshin and the dialogs are different depending on the twins. And since you mentioned that the twins may have a different approach and opinions about things, maybe thats one of the reason why the abyssal twin didn't take the traveller twin with them.
Speaking of the Twins, when I was looking on the achievements under the Enkanomiya, I saw the name of 3 gods. One of them is Kairos, which we already know and is mentioned to be one of the four shades. The other 2 gods mentioned in the achivements was siblings (not mentioned as twins) which are Hesperus and Phosphoros. This 2 are also greek gods just like Kairos. Hesperus is also known as the "Evening Star" while Phosphoros as the "Morning Star". This made my theory even more stronger that the twins are actually gods. Since people see the twins as the representations of Sun & Moon, Morning & Night, Light & Dark. Something like that. But theres also a possibility that this 2 gods mentioned are 2 of the four shades or a possibility that the twins are children of some powerful god.

Dainsleif takes his Black Serpent Knight duties very seriously, and would have been required to stay with the royal family. My theory about the Hydro Archon is that she is under careful watch by Celestia.
Based on her descriptions in the gemstone and in the Teyvat storyline video, she has a proud personality. Being a god of justice, she is confident that her form of justice or law is correct. She even stated her people can judge ger as she is clean. She also has this line that she sees the other archons as lesser than her (or something like that). Yet, she has her restrains as she is also under the the rules of Celestia.
Fontaine being somewhat like an industrially advanced nation, she will not make any attempts to displease the current gods above with progress. Progress that caused other nations to fall.
Also, in some depictions of maps of Teyvat, plus the location of the floating land above and other ingame details, it appears Celestia is floating just above or near Fontaine. That would pressure her.

I have an answer to your question at 16:14-16:43. The reason why the abyss heralds and lectors are not suffering from the light is because you literally said that they belong from the Abyss Order. Maybe the members of the Abyss Order has some sort of protection from this light thus they’re not suffering.
Meanwhile those who don’t belong to the Abyss Order like the hilichurls, husks, and Dainsleif are suffering because even though they’re denizens of the Abyss and from Kaenri’ah, they’re not part of the Abyss Order. 👀
Even Genshin wiki confirms that the only known members of the Abyss Order are the mages, heralds, and lectors. 😉

I want to draw attention to two things. Firstly, the pattern on Aether's chest is very similar to the pattern of the Khaenri'ahs (the twins' clothes do not have to be from their home world. So, for example, there is a flower from Khaenri'ah in Lumine's clothes, and this pattern is in Aether's clothes), and secondly, only those who were under the curse (hilichurls, Dainsleif, husks) suffered in the chasm, but not the abyss readers, maybe because they were already able to get rid of (or greatly weaken) the curse, and not because they're not from Khaenri'ah
And no, abyss twin does not considers Khaenri'ah as homeland. Twins are from another world, which was destroyed, so they tried to rebuild IT in Teyvat

So far the traveller (and Dain) mushed the abyss twins plans 3 times
    1. Corruption of Dvalin (which is kinda understandable that abyss twin didn't get mad since she was relieved that her twin is still good and alive)
    2. Inverted Statue, yeah abyss twin appeared, but only to save the hydro herald. Probably abyss twin was suprised that traveller is with Dain, and maybe she couldn't take the two on? Or have an hesitation to fight her brother so she just retreated.
Whatever happened to the inverted statue anyways? We just left it there after the emotional damage we suffered. Didn't even bother to destroy or report it to Adventurers guild, or.. Zhongli.. or some higher authority.
Maybe abyss twin will revisit that inverted statue once they got hold of the field tiller core that Dain possesses.
    3. The cleansing event. Now..this should get in the nerves of the abyssal twin right?
Like there are pests who keeps ruining her plans, especially since she is emotionally attached to it. That's annoying honestly. Either she herself will do somethin or be manipulated by the order to do something.
Next archon quest, the abyssal twin and traveller should fight for real. It would make no sense not to because if I was the abyssal twin, I would eliminate those who stand in my way, be it my twin or Dain.

For those who are having a hard time to understand about "erosion", so for lands and ores its a easy explanation. For living beings, erosion is something getting closer it its expiry date. Like, when a person starts to get old, slowly his back bends, his legs and arms starts to lose power,
bad eye sight, weak digestive system, and many other such things. His body starts to lose it's power. like how machines start to work slower and all. think of it like that. and slowly that body will stop to finction and the person dies. But if the person still doesn't dies after the body doesn't functions its starts breaking inside(like how rusting works). It is still functional but like a rusted machine. and slowly that rusted machine will start decomposing. So that's how this "erosion" works. I tried my best to explain with examples. If you still can't understand, I'm sorry.
the more the story goes the more it is making sense that Aether is the protagonist and Lumine is the abyss queen. the flower placed by lumine from her hair shows a emotional connection she has with khaenri'ah. Lumine clearly has more story in Khaenria'ah. Just why would someone lese carry they flower for 500 years that to a abyss creature who are devoid of sympathy and such fellings. They obey order and have a mindset of revenge and destruction.
And mark my words Lumine is probably the reason why Celestia destroyed Khaenri'ah otherwise why would she alone is trying to "revive" khaenri'ah. she could have explained aether about ecerything and Aether would have believed him. But she wants to fight alone to make up for something or as if she has a responsibility to do so.

these are great! very detailed and well made. would love another in depth look on khaenri'ah and why they share same pupils tho kaeya's differs. are kaeya's pupils indicative of being half khaenri'ahn only and thus saving him from the curse of his people?

i remember an old theory about the sustainer’s cube things absorbing the souls of people which is why khaneriah was covered in the blocks. the nail in chasm has her same blocks but a light blue color. in the traveler archon quest, halfdan’s soul escaped in an energy that matched the color of those blocks. could it be that the cubes really do absorb the soul? if that’s true, it would explain why theres cubes around the nail. it could be the hilichurls’s souls, which makes sense because the reason why they are all headed towards the chasm is because they were attracted to the nail (i think). further expanding on this, does that mean that the constellations that we also see floating around the nail alongside the cubes are the CONSTELLATIONS of the souls?

The portal network could be teleport waypoints as only the traveller can use them and they are the only functioning way to travel around teyvat in the blink of an eye. The portable waypoint description even hints to teleport waypoints utilizing power of abyss.

As what you said about Khaenri’ah added in the futuro I think the trailer about the seven nations kinda confirms that because it says “in the hidden corners where the gods gaze does not fall, there are those who dream of dreaming”, which makes me think that where the seven archons nations is not where Khaenri’ah is, I used to think that Mondstadt could be Khaenri’ah but now it makes me think that it might be in a corner, and Khaenri’ah wasn’t destroyed 100%, it maybe could be just like ruins because dain said that it could be similar to Khaenri’ah if that was not upside down, and when it’s talking about “those who dream of dreaming” could be a reference to the abyss order or remaining people of Khaenri’ah hoping for it to be a dream and a lie, I don’t know about the Journey that the abyss twin and dain were in but it obviously wasn’t the same thing for the traveler, like to discover why Khaenri’ah was destroyed and that stuff but it is similar in “Discovering the true nature of this world”, Khaenri’ah for some reason feels like the center of the world, not because it was the most important (because I think they were all equally important) but because it just didn’t affected Khaenri’ah but also all the remaining nations, also it played important roles that now affect the actual journey
Because the Tsaritsa is collecting the gnosis not because they can make her more powerful but because they are the key to Celestia, also it stops the archons from being controlled to attack her when she attacks the heavenly principles in the future, she is not bad but she has the irony, she is the god of love but she doesn’t love her own people because she got so affected when the God of Wisdom died 500 years ago, is kinda similar to what happened to Ei I suppose
My English is not that perfect, I’m sorry if I said something bad or incorrect

I thought i might share something since i haven't seen anyone post about it. After the archon quest in the chasm when you return later to the nameless ruins you can find that the hilichurls have passed one and only their masks remained so i decided to collect the remains i could find but when i returned to hilichurl camp where inteyvat is i discovered that when you investigate a certain spot you don't get a mask but rather a mysterious clicking noise. I don't what that is about maybe its a secret puzzle or its interactable until you find all of the passed On hilichurls masks Who knows

I love that everyone thinks "Oh, Abyss twin was just someone who showed up in Khaenri'ah, not anyone native there" and then there's my friend group that's just:
    "Hey, how was Khaenri'ah built?"
"Twin got a gnosis and land, built a nation, and got power hungry."
"Okay thanks, gonna go write another AU now."
"Alright, have fun, kill off Tartaglia at some point."
    "Will do!"

I dont know if someone has notice this already, but the cutscene style before the battle pass its pretty much similar to an old anime called “Utena: the revolutionary girl”, and curiously this anime also speaks of an illusionary upside down castle that appears from the sky where all dreams can come true. Maybe they could have use this as a reference. just a thought :)

I think the Celestia of old isn't the same Celestia as nowadays, or might even be a creation of the Second Throne after the primordial one got defeated.
It would explain why the ruins, and the pool of water, have this soothing effect on the people affected by the curse, since they're from a time before Celestia (as stated in the video), a time when the primordial one was reigning over a unified civilization.
If the primordial one was still in charge and ruling over Teyvat and Celestia, it would make no sense for the ruins to be disconnected from Celestia and have this effect on the curse.
This means that the primordial one was a loving God (as shown by one of his shades, the God of Time, in Enkanomya), whereas the new Celestia, ruled by the Second Who Came, eons ago, got rid of the primordial one and despises humanity, wanting to control everyone by using Archons and visions as a means to control the elements.
It also makes sense that such a hateful God would start a war, spreading calamity and destruction all over the world, to determine who'd inherit the privilege to control an element.
I don't see the primordial one doing something like this.
The elements may have existed during the primordial one's rule as well, but were used by humanity as a whole to advance the species, not by a few select gods and vision bearers.
Remember that visions are actually used by Celestia to spy on certain humans with great ambitions, with the ones showing too much potential being invited up to Celestia and taken away to jail (one preview of Celesita looks like a panopticon, a special type of jail).
The abyss might actually be the kingdom of light like I saw mentioned somewhere else, aka. the remnants of the primordial one's power, with Celesita being the kingdom of the false "demonic ruler" that killed the primordial one and turned Teyvat upside down (you actually travel upwards while in the Abyss spire).
Now, what did Kaenri'ah do to justify its destruction by Celestia?
Maybe they got too close to the truth of what happened between the Second Who Came and the primordial one, delving into forbidden Abyssal knowledge and thus making Celestia angry, the Second Who Came maybe being afraid of being overthrown.
After all, orobashi had to die because he learned the truth in Enkanomya.
This also makes sense knowing the Abyssal Order's plan to overthrow Celestia using an artifical God.
The abyssal twin woke up first, traveled around in Teyvat before settling in Kaenri'ah, where he/she learned the truth about this world.
Celestia launches an attack, the twins try to flee, are stopped by the unknown God because one of the twins has forbidden knowledge, and the rest is history.
I do think the Abyssal twin had their journey with Dain before the cataclysm as well, with them discovering the truth at the end of it.
The traveller will eventually discover it as well at the end of his own journey.
I don't think the Abyssal order will remain our enemies at the end of the game, they can't, since it's common knowledge that the fall of Celestia is the ultimate goal of the game, which incidentally, is also the Abyssal Order's goal.
And since the Fatui, under the cryo Archon's rule, are also trying to rebel against Celestia, I don't think they'll be our enemies towards the end of the game either.
Regarding what happened in Inazuma and the whole timeline/time travel shenanigans, I think Celestia overdid it when they punished Kaenri'ah for getting too close to the truth, releasing monsters everywhere on the world.
Remember that not everyone in the abyss is evil, since it may be the kingdom of light, as shown by Childe's mentor, which means that the monsters which attacked Inazuma might be a creation from Celestia.
This lead to them having to correct their mistake with time travel and timeline change with the help of the previous electro Archon.
