Hi, you could file down the acrylic till it is thinner, but never go back to the natural nail. If you don't have a soak off pot with a false bottom into which you place hot water then you can put the bowl of Pure Acetone in a bowl of hot water. The Hot water heats up the acetone and helps to speed up the soak off. John

Hi, I used mma with two sets of my nails as i was unaware of this and i’m about to purchase an ema monomer. Would there be serious health effects with just the use of two sets im quite worried :/
Hi, as long as you have had no allergic reaction. You should not have any worries. MMA is used extensively in most of the Vietnamese salons in the UK. It is not banned in the UK. It can purchased at Vietnamese nail suppliers. It is not recommended that you use it as it is hard to soak off and can be detrimental to your health as a nail technician breathing in the fumes all the time. People can also have an allergic reaction to EMA or gel every person is different. Any person that shows a reaction to products remove it as soon as possible and advise them see a doctor. It is very rare for someone to have an adverse reaction to nail products. You must always buy good quality brands as these will have been tested to be safe. John

How can I know for sure if they sold me MMA instead of EMA apart from what you mentioned in this video?? Thanks 🙏
Hey did you ever find out if it was really MMA? All I have learned from research and watching videos most were mentioned in this video that if its MMA strong smell when taking off the nails by allowing them to soak in acetone and when you go to remove the substance if it's real gooey and shiny looking and other nails dry faster than you can finish getting the substance off other nail removed n u have to keep resoaking to be able to remove then its MMA if it flakes off easily with tool and doesn't take too long to remove substance on both hands then more than likely its EMA also if nails are super weak thin n brittle and sometimes sore to touch and look badly damaged most likely its MMA. To test product to be able to see if its MMA you could always test one of your own nails by applying substance to one nail then once done n set you could attempt the removal process and you should be able to tell right away. I don't recommend testing on ur own nail if ur skin is real sensitive though. I hope you were able to find out if u were sold fake EMA it's sad ppl have to worry that they might get sold a fake product that actually contains something dangerous.
