It's really refreshing seeing Female assassins' get the same brutal treatment the men assassins' do. These films seemed ahead of their time.

I saw Shogun Assassin as a kid, but then I watched the Lone Wolf and Cub series. And I knew I missed out big time.
You have to give these Kunoichi credit. They died stoically and without fear, just like Ogami himself. No nonsense female fighters.
