+QuickyBabyTV Thx QB...I absolutely hate the LT missions...I'm still stuck on 1st LT-15...Done with TD, MT and HT missions, last for SPG and LT...this will help hugely, thanks!!!
this mission is a "BITCH" and the maps absolutely sucks for it! there are times when you get that perfect spot but suddenly a "red tomato noob" light tank obliviously suicide yolo on your location!
You are a god of tank wisdom! I stumbled upon this video YESTERDAY, noted my choice of bush was too far back and viola, early this morning [as the country votes for it's next prez (I early voted)], followed your advice. I used your fav tank the WZ- 132 with just optics and no camo net (hadn't switched in binocs or would have scored higher) as was trying to save gold, but if I hadn't gotten the good karma this battle from helping my elderly parents recently, I would have. Karma was a key ingredient as many times you don't get the right map, spawn position or team comp (extra lt tanks competing for spots, rushing or impatient tankers, or just uncooperative enemy team). I felt you were guiding my hand oh obi wan QUICKYNOBI as I seemed to relive your battle from spawn towards near the end. 12K spotting for the T55A! Map was Malinovka. Can't thank you enough!
That bush on Campinovka yielded my best "pure spotting" game on the VK2801 - spotted every single tank on the enemy team and of course easily got a Mastery - Ace.
QB, you are a star! I've been trying to do this mission for the stug despite having done all the others months ago and it's been really frustrating. After watching this, did the mission at the 1st,time of trying in a t49. Thank you
You forget one thing, aditional to all the skills on the crew, Brothers in Arms (BIA) is increasing the overall skill by 5% that has been key to my missions. When driving my 13-90 my spoting range is 5% longer (or better if u will) than a tank without it. I have had 13-90's driving 70-100meters close to me, without even spoting me in the E1 location. You got to get nerves of STEEL to get those missions done. But well played QB! And congrats with the obj. 260!
I had an amazing game last night in my Walkerbulldog. I want to say it was 11k scouting damage, with 1.1k damage all from passive scouting on the Malinovka map. The spot i used watching QuickyBaby, thanks for the tips on scouting!
I completed LT 15 with my 1390 with 3600 damage and about 6000 assistance damage on Prokorovka. I was going onto the hill and used the tactics which are shown in your Leopard 1 video "How to bush". Basis for that success was a heavy tank which joined me on hill, preventing the enemy to rush me. And of course some big guns in the middle proving side shots into the enemy contesting the hill. Unfortunately I succeed the LT 15 only for the HTC with that particular game. The overall damage had been sufficient for the T55 mission and even for the Obj 260 mission.
I just want to say thank you to quickybaby for all the effort you put into your videos because let’s not make any bones about it you out in a ton of effort so thank you because it truly helps those willing to learn
Thanks a lot for this video - it is almost a step by step tutorial how to complete LT15 missions in all operations. I've just finished mine for Stug IV which I've been trying to complete for few months. But... This mission is VERY situational - You have to have tanks willing to shoot at Your targets. I was working on this mission with ELC AMX and most of times I was in a team with VI tiers resulting 3500 spot damage or sth. OR You have 5 scouts in team... That one lucky time I finished mission I was only scout in my team, oposite side had Chafee. I was lowest tier, and with many VIII tiers. Went to magic bush, then further, further, then some active spotting and bang! 4600 spot DMG, one round shoot into unaware t28 prototype... Thanks a lot again! Now, with new operation enabled, money flows again... :)
For the people using the 132 for this mission: use the 85mm it has way better dpm for those 1v1's at the end of the game. The decrease in pen doesn't matter to much apart from against maybe a Mouse because 173 pen is enough for the sides and rear of almost all tanks. The 85mm also has better camo when firing. In the end it is all about personal preference though, if you feel more comfortable with the 100mm go for it.
Thats right... I actually play with the 85mm I can penetrate all tanks... but not maus... reload time for me 4.4 sec and feels like the tank have better mobility ;) ohhhh... don't forget the heat bullets 😜
+Marcel Brh Depends on the gun. For example, its (sort of) known that using the top gun on the Pz 38 Na is a terrible idea, because its 7 times heavier than the 4.7cm. It slows you down by 1.5 hp/ton. Using the stock turret makes you even faster by 3hp/ton, though at the cost of view range.
+Appletank8 If your using a stock turret on 38NA your doing it wrong. You get +5% speed but loose 10% of view range in a scout. 47mm is better not because of the weight alone but mostly because of better aim +7,5% and aimtime +80%! (only 1,3sec compared to 2,3 on 5cm)
Very well thought out video, QB. I don't actually play WoT myself due the learning curve for new players being immense but I really enjoy listening to you play.
Prokhorovka is where I did LT-15 for the Stug IV. It turned out to be the best for combined damage and scouting assistance. I am glad that my thoughts that it would be are shown to be true by your statistical analysis. :)
Tried it so often, all the stars has to allign for this mission - so damn brocken. Without platoon friends not possible. In your battle Arty did all the assistance damage on your scouting. With random players they wouldn't care how well you spot. But finally its a great feeling to complete the 15th mission :) Great play!
I got lt-15 for the stug 4 on prokhorovka too, best way for me was "surfing" the ridgeline in the middle back and forth with a pimped out 13 90, followed by an aggressive push into the dips towards the end of the game
Thank you for posting videos such as these. I have watched all of them and have seen a significant improvement in my light tank performance from knowing where to go to help the most, when to leave to defend, and when to be aggressive. I used to average 1.5k total damage a game in my lights and now average 3k so thank you for these. The main thing it has helped me with is picking the best target to go after for the situation and when to relocate in order to stay alive to keep helping.
I completed LT-15 for the T55A on Westfield in an AMX 1390. It was a complete surprise as I did about 4500 unexpected spotting to go with my 2500 damage.
Me and my Clan's second best artillery have fed so many clanmates with LT-15 completions by queing up in an LT + 2x BC 155 58 platoon. With a single exposure, your LT can light it up a target for 2 shells per BC Arty... we once actually got him his LT-15 on Himmelsdorf when he was lighting targets on the flanking path up on the hill.
This was a very helpful video. I have been struggling to get through my light takes for the Stug and you had some really helpful tips and tricks for making it possible :-)
Wow, so much work on those graphs, thank you for that QB!! Btw. when those mission were in their first unnerfed version, I have mannaged to do 6000 of assistant damage with Walker Bulldog on Mountain Pass!
i beat LT-15.3 a couple nights ago in my Ru251 on lakeville. 6k spotting damage using the bush on the lake road from the north spawn as well as the counter-scout bush along the north eastern part of the lake. Picked up another 1700 damage and survived the game not realizing I completed it.
Prohkorovka is certainly a fine map to run these missions on; I managed to get over 4k pure assist damage in a tier 4 light tank (Pz38t nA) by working the centre ridgeline.
While I'm a 13/90 driver through and through, the WZ-132 has to be the best one for this. It can be either active or passive, has a good gun, and is one of the more sneaky high tier lights.
I feel alot better about my lack of success with LT15 grade 1 after watching this. Trying it with a 1 skill crew, LTTB without premium consumables or any gold ammo. Took 69 games to get it without honours (after stupidly throwing my tank away at the very end). I might not be that bad a light tanker after all...but man, it relies on your team being alert but not too aggressive. Also did it on Erlenberg, by constantly relocating, overwatching the cap and flanking. Light tanks have to be the most difficult type in the game...it killed my win rate.
With base view range for tier 8 LTs at 390 or 400, why not skip the binocs (which don't help when moving) and go with Vents (which help all skills/perks) and Coated Optics? Won't that put you over the maximum spotting distance/view range of 445? Despite what the WoT wiki implies, Coated Optics work when stationary (wiki says they don't work when binocs are active).
im almost up to this mission and i've heard its damn near impossible... that has obviously been proven wrong :) always great & informative to watch your videos!
IMO, Malinovka is best for this if you can get to the bush you were in. You can spot almost entire map, which you can't on E1 bush on Prokhorovka. Especially if you are doing it alone.
in the livestream: totally panicking when the is appeared on youtube: "i saw that he was in a poor gun depression spot, kept my cool and took his tracks... dmt qb dont lie to us :/
Personally, I like the 13 90 as my first choice, I have good skills on my crew and I have it equipped with a cammo net and binoculars for passive scouting. But even after the enemies have spread out a little and not so many players are left in the game the guns 240 average damage racks up an easy 2000 damage by the end of the battle. After the 13 90 all the tier 7 and 8 autoloaders do for me. (T71)
I came 38dmg away from doing the Stug IV one, i was a bit mad (ive not been playing for too long, it was in the amx 12t though). But now ik what to do :)
if your crazy anuff you can do this mission in an elc amx. Very sneaky tank , put bilocularas+ coated optics + camo net + camo crew=invisible. Then get a friend to put you in a tier X game , find a nice spot and there you go. And apcr rounds on the elc amx have a very very good pen for a tier 5 scout.
I'm doing the HTC mission LT-15 now and i did it bun not with honors... but when i had to do mission LT-12 where you need to spot 3k i did it with amx 13 75 on Malinovka where i assisted 8700 and did like 300 dmg or something. So yea, good game, wrong mission selected. I was just camping in the middle bush the whole time (E4)
Did it for T55A on Prohorovka with 5.8k assisted dmg and 2k own dmg. I took T54 ltwt, there were only few IX tier, and mostly VIII tier with some VII, so its possible to do for everyone who know good places for passive spoting.
I am suprised that Malinowka only scores average., since your 12k game in a scout was on that map and it has some cool bushes. Which Scout is your favorite to earn the mission? WZ132?
+Rubashow Yeah , Malinovka should be second. Did LT 15 for the T55A there, as long as your team is able to pull the trigger, its one of the last true scout maps that did remain in the game. Seems like we finally found Quickys weakspot :D
Stahlgummiente I think it's also worthy to add that if there are 4-5 light tanks in the game, it's very risky to go to those positions. If you have only 1-2 lights on the other team it's much safer and there are counter positions to both bushes that you should have in mind.
Rubashow Sorry, I somehow responded to the wrong comment. There was somebody thinking it would be impossible for him to have played on Pearl River because it was removed.
Hey QuickyBaby thanks Ro much for this video, one question I have is: What to do/ how to play when your team has more medium tanks (tier X) that can spot more than you or going to make your spotting locations almost useless??
What's the best way to export data from each battle for analysis? or is it simply a matter of manually entering the data from each "detailed results page"
I got my LT-15 before I got any of the other 15's. My secret is the small hill with bushes on the Paris map. I just spot and not shoot. It reveals my position
That tactic on Malinovka is why I think that map is broken. If your tank isn't fast enough, any scout, smart or suicidal, can make your game a short one. You have no control over whether or not you die, at it's just obnoxious.
I just uploaded a couple of scouting replays to your site. One's in an AMX 13 90; the other's in a T37. I got over 7,700 spotting damage in both, and if I'd only been on the LT15 mission I'd have had an easy completion. (I did finish LT13 in the T37, though.) Let me know what you think!
Iv had a dream game on prokarovka managing to do 18k spotting dmg in my m41 walker bulldog in a tier 10 game with both team having plenty of camping TDs unfortunately it didn't record or I would have shared it on quickybabys replays
for designated target u indeed need to be directly aiming at the enemy tank ..... only direct lines of sight count (increases the time he is being lit from 10 to 12 seconds). if the enemy is behind cover and u aim at the "marker" it does nothing. hmmmm.... when thinking about it i rlly dont know if it is sufficient if you aim at an enemy that is being spotted by somebody else. TIME FOR TRAINING ROOM NOW !!!
Just goes to show pretty much every new map has an element of city in it and ghe nerfs to TD'S in the maps have also greatly affected scouts. WG need to realise not everyone drives MT and HT and bring back some variety. With the nerfs to view ranges the terrain changes and bush removals are unnecessary.
I done this in T49 with only just over 1000 spotting damage. the rest was pure track and damage done myself. Only took my 18th game and was on Sigfried line.
Any tips for LT-15?
I'm LiveStreaming RIGHT NOW!

Why didn't u fire
+Stealthy95 probably because he would be spotted if he did. Generally, getting spotted while spotting people yourself can get you killed real quick.
+QuickyBabyTV I just completed LT-15 for the T55A on Redshire. :)
Agressive scouting and tracking, and some good RNG makes it possible!
-OverThrill
lol i did 14k dmage by assist on malinavka on my 13 90

I just love the picture of the perk Designated Target

CrouchingGrandpa is a wonderful name
Very useful guide on "how to". Thanks for your insights, tips and tricks. Watching you is always a pleasure. Skill is always appreciated.
It surprises me how much time you put into every video.Props to you man.

An absolutely excellent guide. You confirmed a lot of my impressions and gave me some new tips. Thanks!
I see you won the "The Rock of Gibraltar" medal for running into a boulder! Thanks for the awesome replays and keep up the great work!
+ThePersistentNoob haha LOVE IT!
This was a very helpful video. I have been struggling to get through my light takes for the Stug and you had some really helpful tips and tricks for making it possible :-)
Thanks, after watching this last night i finally got it !! Took longer to get the right map, than to complete after your tips. Thanks
Wow, so much work on those graphs, thank you for that QB!! Btw. when those mission were in their first unnerfed version, I have mannaged to do 6000 of assistant damage with Walker Bulldog on Mountain Pass!
You realy hellped me man i could have never completed it without your help
i beat LT-15.3 a couple nights ago in my Ru251 on lakeville. 6k spotting damage using the bush on the lake road from the north spawn as well as the counter-scout bush along the north eastern part of the lake. Picked up another 1700 damage and survived the game not realizing I completed it.
If you spawn north on Redshire there's a good bush for spotting any enemies climbing the big hill.
This is just what I was looking for. Don't have a 4 skill crew for it. I will try it this weekend, thx QB!
Excellent technical video! Thanks a bunch for compiling all those statistics and not blabering off an unsupported opinion.
Light tanks have to be the most difficult type in the game...it killed my win rate.
platoon and perfect MM (as usual)...nice work WG/QB...does not look suspicious at all
Watched this video and got 15,434 spotting on Prokhorovka. Thanks Quickybaby
done it for the first 2 in my RU 251...the only T8 LT that i have atm, but I like it very much.
Great and helpful video. Before I watched it I had no idea how to complete the mission. Now I have.
whats makes this so hard is that there are so many other light tanks in the game, both friendly that steal from you and enemy lights that hunt you
im almost up to this mission and i've heard its damn near impossible... that has obviously been proven wrong :) always great & informative to watch your videos!
Damn, loving all those spreadsheets! That's dedication
IMO, Malinovka is best for this if you can get to the bush you were in. You can spot almost entire map, which you can't on E1 bush on Prokhorovka. Especially if you are doing it alone.
Surprisingly, I did this mission on Swamp for the Stuh IV. Came away with 5.7k spotting damage. The stars just seemed to align.
with these tips now i complete the mission with honor.... thanks QB.. :)

that bush allowed me to do 8.7k spotting dmg with my t37 in a tier 8 match. but I was still busy with LT-15 for the t28 :P
I am suprised that Malinowka only scores average., since your 12k game in a scout was on that map and it has some cool bushes. Which Scout is your favorite to earn the mission? WZ132?

Hey QuickyBaby thanks Ro much for this video, one question I have is:
What to do/ how to play when your team has more medium tanks (tier X) that can spot more than you or going to make your spotting locations almost useless??
Maps to target: 4 out of 200 games in EBR on Prohorovka. 23 out of 100 in ST-I
damn QUickybaby, getting all them stats out. do you have this breakdown for all your battles like this in some form?
What's the best way to export data from each battle for analysis? or is it simply a matter of manually entering the data from each "detailed results page"
I love your math analysis :D
Are you going to be doing an obj 260 vid, Quickybaby?
Thanks QuickyBaby :) i did that mission just now , thank
I wish I still had my replay but I got an 8.5k (spotting damage only) game in my ru 251 on fiery salient. Great replay you had here though.
Great tips QB.
I got my LT-15 before I got any of the other 15's. My secret is the small hill with bushes on the Paris map. I just spot and not shoot. It reveals my position
Thanks Quick! Very helpful!
Awesome video! What's the cap on spotrange?
That tactic on Malinovka is why I think that map is broken. If your tank isn't fast enough, any scout, smart or suicidal, can make your game a short one. You have no control over whether or not you die, at it's just obnoxious.
I tried the Light Tank 15 on malinovka but the amx CDC is introduced now which means it is faster in counterspotting.
Ur truly GOD of WOT thank you brah
I just uploaded a couple of scouting replays to your site. One's in an AMX 13 90; the other's in a T37. I got over 7,700 spotting damage in both, and if I'd only been on the LT15 mission I'd have had an easy completion. (I did finish LT13 in the T37, though.) Let me know what you think!
yay! Thank quickybaby! I hope you show the Object 260 soon! I really want it. Sadly Xbox version of WoT is way behind PC.
well xbox version is way futher than blitz
Ellu Nikola
Not really. Blitz has a lot less tanks and whatnot. So it's farther than Xbox.
+USSWISCONSIN94 He already has it m8, had it for like a week now
+USSWISCONSIN94 yea its BEHIND xbox
Prich038
Interesting.
Managed to do mine in a Bulldog (replay on my channel). Shame I wasn't on the LT-15 mission for the obj.260 but the LT-6 mission for T28 HTC XD
Iv had a dream game on prokarovka managing to do 18k spotting dmg in my m41 walker bulldog in a tier 10 game with both team having plenty of camping TDs unfortunately it didn't record or I would have shared it on quickybabys replays
did it in a type 62 on malinovka...same bush..solo play 6500 spotting plus 1550 damage, give or take.
When are you going to post the Mt-15 video for 260?
Can you share the XLS? It's interesting to see how you've built the charts :)
congrats on the 400k subscriber mark.
He's not at 400K subs....
for designated target u indeed need to be directly aiming at the enemy tank ..... only direct lines of sight count (increases the time he is being lit from 10 to 12 seconds). if the enemy is behind cover and u aim at the "marker" it does nothing.
hmmmm.... when thinking about it i rlly dont know if it is sufficient if you aim at an enemy that is being spotted by somebody else. TIME FOR TRAINING ROOM NOW !!!
Please do an stb-1 review QB I've been anticipating it since you got it.
Only took my 18th game and was on Sigfried line.
hey Quicky, any chance you could post that graph of maps damage?
Hey QB :) do you have the link for your live reaction when you got the Obj.260? I'd really love to see it :D
Stay awesome and greetings from Italy ;)
