  • Hello everybody!
    Welcome to my channel! This time I recorded a video of the first ride on my brand new Honda CB650R. The bike was delivered to me 3 months ago and has been just sitting in the garage since. Finally we have some nice weather around here so it was about time to take the bike for a ride.
    Bike: Honda CB650R (2024) - Normal Clutch version (not E-Clutch)
    Additional equipment: Quickshifter + SW Motech Protection bars
    This video is 100% created by the use of artificial intelligence and all charaters and objects are completely fictional.

    Your video is a living dream! ✨ You could have got the e-clutch and I am explaining further because many people don't understand how it works. It offers "normal" clutch shifting and a clutch lever too. You can choose if you want to use the manual shifting or bang the gears up and down. It's like having an integrated quickshifter which allows you to start or come to a stop without pulling the clutch in and perfect for beginners! It's not like the dct which is completely automatic with manual shifting buttons. In this case, I wouldn't have liked it too as a beginner. Hope you are enjoying your bike. 😊

    • @MotoMacek
      @MotoMacek  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for the thorough explanation! I knew that while buying the bike and still went for the normal because I would just bang the gears up and down without learning the clutch ever. Now I am sort of "forced" to learn it :) In time I will get another bike and will probably be normal clutch and I want to know how to operate it

    This is exactly what I wanted to see! I got my license years ago, but with Covid setting back my schooling and other costs, I was unable to get a bike. I’m hoping this year to graduate and once I’m working I’ll finally be able to get one. I’m very interested in this bike.

    you have a very nice area to ride a bike. you can ride in a higher gear to help with throttle response since it will decrease acceleration and just downshift if you need more power. congrats in a month or 2 you'll be way more confident and have even more of a blast on those kinds of roads

      Yeah man getting an E-Clutch for me felt basically like getting an automatic car which I dont like. I know its not the same and exactly how it works but I prefer the old fashioned way :) Yup the bike sounds so great! Enjoy your bike!

    You can turn off the E-clutch and go with normal shifting. Even when its on, manual shifting always overrides E-clutch. It's basically a better quickshifter, and the bike will never stall.

    • @MotoMacek
      @MotoMacek  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes that's true but I feel like it is the wrong choice for a beginner. If I later get a normal clutch bike I will lack the experience. That's how I look at it :)

    What camera and mods do you use? I can give you some suggestions about the filming setup, that I learned last couple of months.
    I had the same experience first 400-500km with my CBR 650R 2024, I was driving very carefully, like very very carefully 50-60km/h at 5-6th gear. :D
    Overall the bike is really easy to learn and the handling is very pleasant, so you will get used to it pretty quick. I can suggest you Dave Moss videos for adjusting the levers, the throttle and the clutch slack, also check if your gear lever and rear brake lever are in comfortable position. You can set everything as you like and after that the experience gets even better. Great video by the way! :)

      When I was learning for my A license, in my studiebook it was written that it's bad for your bike to run the engine when it's stationary, I think even Revzilla (big yt channel about motorcycles) said that. The "best" way is to drive slowly (2-3k rpm) till the engine is warm.
