Thanks, Greg. I've been doing this process almost daily now for months, but I still learned a few new things and the tips you give are appreciated as always.
Hey i came by your video's by accident very informative thank you, just want to know if I have my own designs that i want to use with my own text etc what format do i start with, can i still use placeit, etc
I want to go into tshirt designing but I want to draw it idk how to , ( meaning which apps, Ik how to draw ) and idk what apps to use can I get some tips please
Excellent video Greg this helps! Quick question. Im very much interested in the passive POD approach but wanted to know if you had another recommendation for those not getting into Merch by Amazon?
Thanks! These are my best tips for the merch application but it's more of a timing thing than anything else nowadays: ruclips.net/video/sKP0AOVbiq8/видео.html If you don't get in just remember you can always reapply with a different email.
thanks so much for your content. I have some digital designs made by my daughter i would like to use. I'm a newbie, i've subscribed to place it but please can you explain to me the process using her designs? I've told her the size pixels I need for t shirts. Is there anything else that I need to know? Do I even need placeit in this case or can I just upload this to be sold?
I followed your instructions and changed the size to 4500 by 5400 and clicked download, but when I checked the download it still has the original size. What do I do?
The print on demand websites handle all of this for you and we just get paid a royalty on the sale (like a commission) so we don't have to pay the physical product tax (or VAT). Hope that makes sense and helps.
Hello, I started selling for about 3 months. Now I can only sell stickers. How can I have a channel to promote my products to be more well known? Thank you.
Can the designs be still created and published using the iPhone app, as per your old method, why have stopped talking about that method? Aren't those designs selling well? What are the sales trends, if the designs with complex graphics are selling OR if its the same one or two sentence based, only text based designs? Extremely IMPORTANT:: how to create designs in BULK which sells too. Plz Reply, i will be grateful, i took your old course but couldn't continue but now i want to pursuit this.
Placit is good I just started everything yesterday ..and I spent around 20 minutes in understanding the features and creating design I also paid the monthly plan..but when I tried to download they said that I have to pay 2 dollars more for downloading that design....what that was ..it would be soo helpful of your reply this please..I also paid the app but they still asking for money while downloading any design...why it is happening or how to fix it?
Hey glad you asked. If you have a monthly subscription, it's 100% unlimited downloads of everything on their site. So you shouldn't be charged anything extra to download anything. I'm guessing you were maybe signed out on that browser? I'd just make sure you're singed into your premium account and that should fix it. They have super good customer service if it's still an issue though!
Great video Greg. Question: After we download to our computer, do we now go back to resize? If so, we're going to have 2 different versions of our creation based on size. Correct? If so, won't that be confusing for organizing purposes to upload to sales platforms? Please clarify. Thanks so much!!!
This is a great channel..i would love to replay some of your shows on my online radio station I broadcast out of Perth Western Australia. The 101 Connection. With your permission, of course.
What are the dimensions to upload for each platform? Printify? Amazon merch? Teepublic? Etsy? Shopify? Can you list them please? Also do I need to download a different version with different dimensions for all the sites?
Can you make a video about what you need to take into account, if you have an online shop? For example how do you do pricing, and taxes, ... and if you sell international, than every country has his own rules. What what rules do you need to take into account. And other boring but important stuff, that is essential if you sell online and international. It is is sort of easy to make designs, but all these other things are difficult but essential. Thank you.
Hey thanks for the comment and suggestion. I'll see if I can put together a video covering everything in one, but in the meantime here are the videos that cover those topics: ruclips.net/video/WQTYTdsxEk0/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/NbV-awn1lng/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/bp8FX6cai7c/видео.html and this one ruclips.net/video/Ye_INQFC4AM/видео.html Hope that helps for now!
Love your videos Greg! Thank you for continuing to put out great, and useful content I/we can apply immediately. I'd love to get my first sale in under 16hrs....let's do it!😊
great video greg! I was trying this out myself and i went for a mix of 2 niches. but i realized that i cannot layer the new graphics i add. For instance, graphic 1 is fine in its place but i want graphic 2 to move behind graphic 1. How do i do that?
No worries! Try adding an element at the bottom left side, and adding a second graphic that way. This should allow you to have 2 on the same template. Hope that makes sense and solves it for you!
@@GregGottfried I did that. It doesn't really have the same effect i want. I was hoping for an option to add a background graphic as there used to be such a choice before. But thank you for your help
Hi I just want to create designs to sell as digital downloads for others to create their own tshirts. Can I still use Paceit even if I don’t do print on demand? Sorry if I missed it. Thanks
It used to be niche specific but now the niches don’t matter because the pod websites list our designs on the marketplace individually in their niches. Hope that helps!
HI GREG, MY MERCH UPLOADS ARE LIVE BUT SHOWS (Live Non-Searchable) WHAT IS THE REASON? WOULD YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY? ALL MY OLD LISTING ARE LIVE AND SEARCHABLE BUT ALL MY NEW UPLOADS ARE SHOWING (Live Non-Searchable)
Hey I could really use your advice on something - would it be possible to create a brand focused around a fandom without actually infringing on copyright? For example if it was Star Wars, have lots space and planet themed shirts and sayings like “No Bad Feelings” or “This Princess carries a gun” and maybe a separate shirt with a graphic of a bunch of fuzz balls laughing (for the line “laugh it up, Fuzzball”)? Because none of those things are technically copyrighted but it would be obvious what I was copying so would I get in trouble for that? Also if I had a youtube channel that made star wars edits and then used that channel to promote my products it would be even easier to accuse me of using their story to sell my stuff, but technically it’s still my designs and I didn’t explicitly copy or steal anything so would it be okay? Thanks for your time, and I look forward to hearing what you think!
And has there ever been a time when you wanted to keep a personal design to yourself and develop it on your own before sending it to market? I guess my question is how do you keep someone from stealing an original idea before you've developed it yourself?

Hi Greg. Is it possible to create a design on Placeit and then print it myself from a printer?
Yes absolutely! Once you download the design to your computer you can use it however you’d like 👍
@@GregGottfried Thank you 😊
And then what? How do you go about getting it onto a shirt or shirts and where/how do you sell them, etc?

How many designs would you upload as a beginner?
do you ship internationally? do you think its better to avoid it because you will need to keep track of all tax regulations?

PlaceIt great but there are no free templates that i found..... So if you cannot afford it, then what?
I followed what you said but the image in my downloads on pc says the image is only 96 DPI??
great tutorial. thank you
Can you do both front and back prints on the same shirt?
Yes you can but it eats into your profit margin quite a bit.
@@GregGottfried How though? Only found the option of either front or back. Not both on the same t-shirt
